It's not actually true that Primož started from absolute 0. As part of ski jumping training, he'd done daily morning runs since childhood. It was mostly a method to build discipline at the time, but it is a habit that he's maintained to this day, even during race days in Grand Tours. When he quit skijumping he took up duathlon and soon focused on cycling because it was what he was weaker at.
Thanks for adding that invis. Comparatively speaking it very minimal riding to what would be expected of a wannabe pro cyclist. I was just quoting Hauptman.
@@lauritskarlsen5973 he is a talent. You cant just compare average joes to some real talents. He said age is a factor but he started at 21. Who does that in pro cycling? Never
It's extremely rare to see such a career trajectory. At 21, you're generally considered too old to turn pro, particularly if you haven't even ridden a bike much before that!
@@poursuivant5167 exactly!! Which is why his age wasnt a factor considering these champions rode their bike since they were 10-13 years old. Honestly he is probably the most talented cyclist ever on earth
Hope that Primoz won next year TDF

If only your videos were not made with text-to-speech... they are well written, but it's really annoying.
