I have seen these engines for 5 yrs or so. Glad Ford is making a push rod engine again, I see a lot of LS design with the Godzilla. Really like the 7.3L! I am also a LS fan. Great design over the previous designs.
@@buckhorncortez What does fitment mean? The word fitment can be used as a general term for a variety of objects used as fittings, furnishings, fixtures, and other kinds of equipment. A fitment can be a part of a machine, especially an accessory that’s attached to another part of the assembly. The plural form of the word, fitments, is used to refer to the fittings or parts of a ship. Fitments also include things like furniture, such as cabinets, and other furnishings and fixtures, like towel racks or coat hooks. This sense of the word is primarily used by speakers of British English. Otherwise, fitment is not a commonly used word, and words like fitting, furnishing, fixture, and equipment are much more common. Hi REVan Evan, I’ve been enjoying your detailed information and interviews on Ford from engines to engineering parts to vehicles… Have you ever considered doing a in-depth interview with Bob Tasca III with a walk around discussing his Mustang Hotrod featuring a start up the work shop, the transporters, what it takes to run Bob Tasca III Mustang Hotrod… Thanks again for your ongoing posts from Sydney Australia
I love that it’s low profile and that they corrected the throttle body angle, but it would be really cool if they were able to utilize that valley and make a longer runner for us NA guys. If Ford did happen to put this engine into a car application, that’s exactly what they’d do.
Just look for retired or wrecked Ford F59 Amazon Vans, Breadtrucks, Stripped Chassis Modifieds and you can have all of the 7.3’s galore. These trucks hit the auction yards with a vengeance.
@@revanevan that's the one I'll be interested in, if they do exactly like the LS intake? Medium Tunnel ram and high tunnel ram with different bolt on hat's? Sorry but BTR would be low on the totem pole for racer's. With today's cowl induction hoods? The more likely we will see a Godzilla under them in alot of car's to come.
We showed the differance in power, below 5400 the stock manifold is better by a larger margin, with the peak torque being 63 ft-lbs greater, from 5500 to 6000 about the same then the short runner is much better, with 50 more HP at 6500 and 70 more HP at 6900.
Evan, whip over to the Aussie UA-cam channel Fullboost to watch a 7.3 Godzilla, Harrop 2650 supercharged '73 Ford Falcon run 8.7@165 at 4,065lbs. It makes 1,305hp on the hub dyno, and obviously a bucket load of low end torque. I think it still thinks it's in a truck !!
Yes, we know Frank at Dandy engines well, we worked with him, he is using our stage 2 heads, cam, pistons and rods. He does a great job putting packages together and gets super results. I think he went 8.31 shutting off at 7.6 into that run.

This all depends on the motor you build, a stock engine would be done about 5700, add a cam and some port work about 6300 add rods and pistons with higher compression, different cam, intake and 7000 and the list goes on.
I'm hoping makes their 7.3L intake like the medium Tunnel ram and High rise Tunnel ram with bolt on different hat's. From front mount throttle body to single carb to twin carb hat's. Like the LS has now.
