WOW. I was like.....ok, that's cute. But when you started adding the paper and all the decorations I had to go back to the beginning and watch again. THIS IS SOOOOO CUTE!!!!!!!!
Great work and you are very talented and very easy to follow - I just found your tutorials and am looking forward to checking more of them out. Thanks for sharing and Hello from Canada ( Province of British Columbia - 1 hr. east of Vancouver). Stay safe and healthy!
Helen, I just found this mini Album, & I am going to make one for our great-granddaughter who just turned 3. It will be pics from her b'day party & since her theme was 'Frozen', I will use the Frozen paper that I have to mat the album. Thank you for sharing. I look forward to more of your mini albums. I will have to adjust the size a bit because I am in the US, & could not find the same size bags you used. :)
Hi Helen! I'm a new subscriber and I absolutely love this tutorial. Thank you for making this so easy! I haven't tried making a flip book yet. Just looking at videos trying to get ideas and this one is a winner! I love the idea using lunch bags. I've seen them using envelopes but not lunch bags. You've done a wonderful job creating this. Thank you for sharing. I'll be spending the next few hours and days to come viewing your videos! 😊
Helen! Another cute project. I would buy a dowel that is the thickness of the rounded spines and just shape the paper spines around the dowel to round them.
Hi Helen, Thank you for sharing the process here on exactly 'how to'! This is a new idea for me... and have very much enjoyed watching you make this. Love how it turned out!
Helen, I'm a new subscriber and I LOVE this flip book. So many UA-camrs do not show start to finish and I greatly appreciate you for doing so. Do you like the scoring/trimmer from We R Memory Keepers? I am considering purchasing this trimmer. I like that it has a work surface greater than 5 inches. Any thing you do not like about it?
Hi Diane, I love the scoring/trimming board and I find it just as accurate as my other boards. I would only say you have to be careful if you leave the blade section flipped open as you can catch yourself on it
this was my first of two scoring/trimming boards that I have and I still like to come back to this one for the measurements that are SO EASY as you said to read.
Hi Helen, new subbie here. I'll also following on instagram so I don't miss anything when I'm away. Fell in love with this project and will give it a go. TFS, Crafty hugz Olga- aka 4theloveofcrafts
Hi Helen great work .i just started watching your channel, and I see you work with collal glue.Is there any other glue that you can recommend? The reason I am asking is although I have bought a lot from crafters companion over the last 4 years including die cutting machines, lots of Sara’s collections etc after buying the complete set of new ink pads and emailing them 3 times to ask if there’s any way to get a color chart witch ink goes together and what ink is better for Alkohol markers etc. I never got an answer from them so I am a little mad at the C.C. right now. So being that I live in Germany it is hard for me to get the Collal glue. Any suggestions??? Thanks I hope you read this. Best regards from the North Sea Husum Germany
Hi Renate, Sorry to hear you're having trouble with colour charts - would this be handy? www.crafterscompanion.co.uk/downloads-colour-charts. Sometimes I find experimenting with 'test patches' works best for colour blending. I always use Versafine Onyx Black Pad and leave it for 5-10 to dry when working with alcohol pens. You can buy Collall from Amazon and I also love Cosmic Shimmer glue (dries clear) by Creative Expressions - you can get that from CraftStash with international shipping. I hope that helps you :)
😍 Helen, beautiful!!!👏👏👏
