I’m crying! It happened when Nina visited the orphanage to see Alessia the first time. Pretty much cried until the end. What a beautiful story and narrated so perfectly. For a long time now, this is the only channel I listen to. What a brilliant narrator. Thank you so much. What a wonderful sweet story. It was sad that Scott died, but thanks to Nina reading Scott's diary, Nina found the child from her dreams. Now they will have a happy and loving family. Poor little Alicia, she eventually through so much in her young life. Now she has a mother that truly loves her. Thank you again for your lovely stories. Looking forward to the next one. What an all emotions story! It is very educational as well to people who are thinking of adopting a child/children.
I have learnt an important lesson to get closer to the one you need to adopt first to get that strong bond if they are no longer tiny toddlers! This helps both parts to get to know each other.

A heartwarming albeit a rather bittersweet story. I wish that Scott could have survived the accident and that he would have been able to introduce Nina to Alicia so that the three of them could have become a family. Still, thanks to his diary, Nina did find Alicia and the two of them formed a quick bond with each other and we assume the adoption was approved. This is one of those stories where a continuation would be appreciated.

Enjoyed this so much. The narrator had me drawn in so good. I hung on to her every word. A really great ending to the story. Only thing that got me was her husband had to die in order for her to realize that she could love a child. Sometimes that’s what it takes
