Interesting breakdown and analysis. Most of the sets I use for customs are bought on sale, clearance or used from ebay, so your cost estimate is actually rather high. In terms of a sale price, I prefer to hold onto my custom builds, so I've never really thought about how I would go about setting one. Thanks for the feedback!

When doing a custom build of an existing design, I find as many guide images as I can, and just try to match what I see using Mega Bloks as closely as I can. That's really all there is to it.

Jack Perry Ehhh, not really. This one was amazing don’t get me wrong. A true feat of ingenuity, but the official Scarab in my opinion is better. It can stand on its own, and Mega was able to make their own specialized pieces for the set. But working with what he has and was able to get, it was amazing.
He, I remember I was trying to customize a Figure once, The paint was working fine... untill it had some sort of Negative Chemical Reaction And MELTED My Figure... But these are amazing. Subricyion earned.

Even though alot of these things are now proper Mega Bloks sets, they still stand out because they were made before all the official ones. And he'll, some like the Spirit still aren't! It goes to show how good these are when it's hard to tell the difference between a custom made set and a real one. Good job!
Although I've never liked the MegaBlocks brand, and have always loved LEGO brand instead, I will definitely say these MOCs are badass. If MB ever released your Halo CE Covenant Dropship or Scarab, I'd be forced to snatch them up. They're too amazing not to own! The scarab especially, my favorite.
they are making a scarab set based on his design watch commander bacara's video about the NY toy fair they talk about some other really cool sets and some of them already came out

I can totally see that. The way I see it is that you could order on Amazon and just pick out the buildings you want on your base. Holy crap I could totally see that being an exclusive set!

I still think back to those times, and it always brings a smile to my face. I agree, Mega Bloks definitely went downhill, but I’m just grateful we got to experience it in its prime. Hope everything’s been going well for you, and that you’re finding your own little moments of joy too.

Yes it looks like that but in Halo wars it makes it's only appearance in the halo series it am a very dedicated halo player and wondered why it was in no other halos just like falcons are only in halo reach

Falcons were the shit... so much more fun to fly than hornets.... you can tell they made hornets first in Halo 3, and then made the Falcon for Reach, knowing that everyone would call bullshit on the fact that the UNSC would take falcons "out of commission" months later. unless the dawn only had hornets.. :S I like to think that. :)

Obviously I would get the Nightingale first, as I need a medical vehicle to get injured troops out of the battlefield. However, the Mastodon, Dragonfly, base turrets, and Razorback looked awesome as well.
you should seriously consider sending in some of those designs to mega bloke! Who knows, they may pay you for your designs. I honestly think you do a better job than the people that design the box sets. Keep it up man!

I remember trying to CLONE your builds in my first year of custom building lol, It never got successful lol, In 2014 i try build something i could create myself (It didn't got successful really) And in 2015 i still try to build something by myself (without cloning) it got more success and more success and now in 2016 I'm still doing bigger build and bigger build! I will never would've been well known (in facebook and few forum) if it haven't been from you and Vince Hoffman builds!

Hot damn, I remember sitting at the computer in my old house. When I watched this video for the first time, I don’t think I had even played halo yet. Still, I was amazed at how absolutely kickass your builds were, and still are. It was also this video that made “The Covenant Dance” one of my all time favourite halo songs. I still collect these sets every now and then, even though I am 16. Actually, I kind of want to try and recreate one of my aircraft drawings as a build in either Lego or Mega Construx, so I can have a physical representation of it.
That was amazing! These are easily the best custom builds I have ever seen! For those in the comments complaining, custom build doesn't mean original idea. A lot of these are creations of existing Halo buildings/vehicles that just don't have their own Mega Bloks sets yet.
Some are based on concepts developed for Halo but never used in the actual games, others are things I just dreamed up...as far as seeing them all, I'm pretty sure you're already at the one place where that's possible!

These are masterful builds, the detailing and features on each one of these builds is phenomenal! I was really impressed with the cobra but then all of a sudden, Spirit, Reactor, Darters/Heavy supply pad, SCARAB and a whole bunch of the others! These are incredible. No doubt people will be "Shut up and take my money!" I don't blame them, these are too good. Well done!

If I had to guess, I would say that the firefly's main porpoise is definitely Flipper.
