Kad na mlado poljsko cv'jece,
Biser niže ponoc n'jema,
Kroz grudi mi želja l'jece,

I duša se miru sprema,
Kroz srce se glasak krade,

Procvjetala svaka staza,
K'o što bješe divnih dana,
Po ružama i sad prska,
Bistra voda šadrvana.
Ispod rose zumbul gleda,
Iz behara miris vije,
A za mene k'o da cvili,
I u bolu suze lije.

Vedri istok kad zarudi,
U treptaju od alema,
I tad srce pjesmu budi,

I u casu bujne srece,
I kad tuga uzdah sprema,
