I trust their Etsy expertise but when I saw a video of her saying something along the lines of "just pin from Etsy, you don't need to stress about it", it didn't sit well with me and got me questioning my upcoming strategy as a new Pinterest user. Your advice is really useful for not getting caught in the web of lies. Appreciate all the work you do for progress in general, to be as crystal clear as your work is really inspirational. Hope not to get caught into the spam filter grind, got caught in the Etsy spam filter for no reason but luckily I made it back.
I pin directly from Etsy and UA-cam each time I have a new "product" - so max 3 times a week. Is that spammy? I schedule 1 pin a day through Pinterest.
No, I think that is just fine. This video is really targeting towards those who are NEW to this. Have a brand new account on Pinterest then go and pin daily or all at once and it results in hundreds of pins.

I clicked the initial appeal button and got an email that they decided not to reinstate, but I felt like that could have been automated so I went into the help center and wrote an appeal there and I'm waiting to hear back. Fingers crossed. I didn't know I did anything wrong.

How do you know if you got caught in the spam filter?
All the people complaining about this to me are legit getting their accounts shut down. They get an email saying their accounts were blocked for spam.

My Pinterest account was suspended today and I had created many boards and done tons of repins and only pinned 3 of my products.
Submit an appeal. Some of the people who have come to me have gotten their accounts back when they explain they are real and made a mistake.

The person that trigged me making this video said the same thing and their 2nd appeal got their account back.
