I am in the process of purging and it is a lot of work disposing of a lot of things I have been dragging around. I might have a purse and clothing give away next to the dumpster. I am moving Oct 1 and I haven't decided where I am going, but I have decided what I am not dragging around with me. I just wish it wasn't a million degrees here. I was surprised when my next door neighbor called and told me I was her best friend and would I do her laundry? I don't want to be her best friend. 3 other people who live here also consider me their best friend. I give them things when I have extra, but now they are calling daily asking for favors. 22:22 - my problem is that - as of past few years, I had to admit to myself that all these people surrounding me betrayed me - time and time again. SO, quite frankly (and not that I am paranoid LOL) i only seek peace... and, I noticed, I can only achieve that when I'm alone. WE don't need others to be happy, at least, not in my case. If my happiness doesn't matter to my fam and friends, why waste my love on them - they misuse it. Me three. I am peaceful alone (and of course my furry friend dog). That's all I need. But I totally related to yours and DewDropped posts since my ultimate betrayal came from siblings. And I am 68 years old - I'm no spring chicken. It's heartbreaking when you were close to siblings our entire life - but the problem with today's societies are all these "BLENDED" families. It's like a freakin' carousel with my brother. He's on 4 marriage and we all have to shift with the new wives and THEIR families. It has totally upset the entire dynamics of the family each time. But this time has caused anger and resentment and estrangement. Very sadly. But anyway, the long histories of siblings can cause great harm. Sort of what Jesus said, 'The members of your own family will be your greatest enemy." I agree - only THEY know our histories and know where our Achilles heel is. It is so painful and brutal. This betrayal has devastated me and shaken me to the core. We were brought up as close siblings and thought we would always be there for each other. It is much easier to cope with this type of estrangement when younger - but at my age I need and miss family. But not the way they have turned out. I'm happier alone. Sadly this has caused TRUST issues. If I can't trust my family, who can I trust? Thanks for listening.
@@JodyFidelis i'm no spring chick either... it had to happen, for us to realize that we are undermined by using our love against ourselves. 50 yrs of being sabotaged - it's painful, but needed. Much love to you and strength 😇 oh, i almost missed the question... well, sadly, you can't trust them...I tried so hard and it almost killed me (no joke - depression, anxiety, etc.) I cut my family last... they gave me no choice. If they can't love me unconditionally, like i love them - i have to protect myself b4 they "extinct" me. I rely on my instinct now 100% - no matter what ANYONE/ANYTHING tries to convince me... i always gave the best advice, in return I was dismissed and treated like i wasn't normal. I also suspect a lot of black magic was done to me since i was very young... i could write books on each individual who betrayed me... trying to think of someone who hasn't... nothing comes to mind except for one lady who was as tormented as i was. SO, rely on yourself. Sorry, but you are the only one who does want the best for you.
@@JodyFidelis well, Jesus also said - if you love ur family before me... and what i think he meant was - careful who you let into your heart... because in your heart you find all the answers and support you need... if family manipulates you, they don't deserve your love. Nor your loyalty. Period... the way i think about this is... would i do to them what they are doing to me? My loyalty brought me to my knees too many times to let it go. It's obvious to me now. I need to live my life w/o having to dim my light for anyone. I think there are good people out there, at least that is what my hope is. Meanwhile, know that you are not alone.

👌my recent experience has shown that he is in denial regarding childhood traumas.. I've also realised he's part of my healing also. He is loyal insofar as trust cheating & has I believe more feelings than he admits & that's too obvious so at least I feel that however his issues are to commit as in a boy/girlfriend is not needed bcz he interprets us in that relationship I don't. I'm 57 he's 59 next month & I'm open to my forever where after 14 yrs marriage & 6 yrs single bcz he settled for never falling in love or get into another relationship has now groomed his subconscious to push away anything as graceful as us by sabotaging us through dumb but hurtful situations he doesn't acknowledge & blames & excuses them off to he made a mistake, he didn't do or say that & now after more of those & many get lost moments I don't care about a commitment with him bcz he brings out the worst that I thought was healed. So I appreciate my lessons in this & thank God I am in control of my existence where he is using emotional manipulation to keep me when I'm no longer giving my precious love to this . I was not in love but saw our potential where he always will say but we are together & not sleeping with anyone else but I conclude when he ends with but it might not last or too much pain to deal with when it doesnt work says he is afraid of love admitting he never loved his wife of 14 yrs with 2 kids & if he never sees his trauma blockages he will never be able to experience a wongerful loving relationship.
