For those of you with sick thoughts and blank knowledge about such an incredible and extraordinary person as His Holiness the Dalai Lama, I feel very sorry and sad for your existence as "Human Being". Your ignorance in compassion and love is greatly shown from the pointless NEGATIVE comments. There is still a time to learn about the work and life of this great and holy person. Grow up and spread love!

I love how he laughs at the trials set before the world. He is my teacher on how to live, how to try to live. I too say Free Tibet. China will someday realize to right way. Chinese people are already seeing the truth of real freedom. The Tibetian Freedom is in the mind.

No one else could be more wisdom on both humanity & spiritually rather than HH Dalai Lama, he's truly an example for new generations of world for a better Place !
It's always waste of our times to jealous one and another unless someone is on wrong ways, China should negotiate with HH Dalai Lama.
As long as we see he's truly the one best compassionate and teaching the world in love and friendship !
But China fear to talk with him because he's the truth and China has the unrealistic documents !

I don’t think negotiate with Chinese communist would work for Tibetans peace and freedom, and if you can learn from the history, the negotiations has not worked out well with Chinese communist and Tibetans, and that was the reason HH Dalai Lama exiled to India for protecting his people from brutal violence. The only method is for good, the Chinese communist government must leave Tibet and return the land to Tibetans, then completely leave Tibetans alone and not trying to do anything to harm them.

Well, I am actually a practicing Buddhist and go to temple every week. No one is exploiting anything and arguments such as this are exactly what Buddhism is NOT about. The idea is to realize the cause of suffering, strip away outside influences, and find the solution within a quieted, aware mind to end that suffering. Social discord only fuels the fire. His Holiness is only trying to spread the word about what he knows, and what he has experienced. And that is his duty as Lama. So didn't mean to offend anyone, so there's no need for insults. I just thought I would share what I know about this awesome way of existence. :)

I've been to Tibet every summer for the past 30 years. It's a great place. They are far more free than the us on the outer, inner and secret levels. Tibetans in Tibet aren't consumed with jealousy and hatred like the ones in India and the West are. You want to see destruction of culture just go see the American Indians. If you want to see preserved Tibetan culture, just go to Tibet. You've got to go to know! Don't believe the propaganda, just follow your heart!
Good karma builds temples, bad karma destroys them. What kind of karma are you creating? Everything is self perfected through the nature of wisdom. May all Tibetans in the West realize this! Everything is perfect just as it is, nothing to add, nothing to take away. May you find the peace of mind free from all animosity, just like the glorious Lotus Born Guru!

Religious persecution perpetrated by Tibetan monks has been there for centuries. They killed people who followed the older traditional Tibet religion. The situation was just like Christianity & Romans. At first monks were persecuted, after the King was converted, Buddhists became powerful and eventually took over the King’s post. Dalai Lamas were kings; acted & lived like one. There was lots of killing to remain on top. Many Asians consider Tibetan Buddhism corrupt.

frankly speaking, tibetan freedom is a distant cry, china has no reason to give in to His Holiness`s demands.But. the protest that broke out in tibet will surely make them think of reformation in their governance in that region.I dont care if tibet gets autonomy but I care about the people there. If china can bring growth and prosperity to that region, that will be enough for now. What matters most is the end of oppression and wellbeing of the tibetans

UN has been to Tibet many times, it has not asked for another trip. Are you trying to spread false information?
Many in the West have been to Tibet; my relatives were there in 2010 and I want to go very bad. Chinese government is not the reason why I haven't been able to go, I need money and companion.
Corruption of Tibetan Buddhism is in history books. Buddha taught us to live a simple life and be compassionate. Dalai Lama lived like a king and still advocates religious persecution.

Wonder why Tashi Tsering exposed the corruptions in old Tibet? He was deeply disappointed by the old ruling class. He said on page 77: "the total domination of a small religious and aristocratic elite over the mass of poor peasants and held back all attempts at change." He saw it with his own eyes that the corrupt old regime led by Dalai Lama can not and will not reform itself to serve the Tibetan people. He finally realizes that Dalai Lama & his people do not represent Tibetans.

  • @Sam26412
    @Sam26412 11 років тому

Evidence? Want a boy raped in front of U? Tashi Tsering was no nonentity; he followed Dalai Lama out of Tibet, worked with refugees, & later sent to USA. If he lied many Tibetans would have come out to condemn him. There was another sex scandal with a high ranking Tibetan monk in Seattle, 1963. A monk made a Tibetan woman pregnant, because of their status, this woman was a member of the ruling Sakya family, it has to be concealed. Tashi Tsering was arranged to marry her. Page 78 in his book.

Daniel 7:25 says the anti Christ would try to change Gods times and laws it is very known that the popes take full responsibility for changing the Sabbath day from Saturday to Sunday and this is a fulfillment of what Daniel said about the anti Christ trying to change Gods times and laws. Daniel 8:11-12 claims the anti Christ would exalt himself as high as Christ and the popes did this when they called themselves vicarus filii dei JESUS substitute on earth.

obviously, you don't know anything (or don't believe in)about reincarnation.
I don't think Tibetans are suffering. I read that the living standards of ordinary Tibetans have improved, only the old ruling class suffered. If you think I am wrong give me info.
I've been looking for Tibetans who would express regret and sympathy for the Chinese their ancestors brutalized. I haven't found one yet. I don't think Tibetans learn their history because they all talk like they are pure angles.

This interview is good because of one thing - the Dalai Lama's words upon which my attention was totally focused. This interview was RUINED however, by 3 things: the HORRIBLE musical intro, and Jim Glassman's style (his smirks/shallow interest/showmanship - sorry Jim, but true; you know it), and the Exec. Producer's decision to run with this styling, camera action from Dalai Lama, back to Jim smirking, and back again). Could have been better if you just kept it calm, respectful-apprearing, etc.

He is trying to say Dalai Lama is no God.
It is ironic that the Dalai Lama preaches forgiveness in the West but persecutes other Tibetan Buddhist sects at home. Watch this video, especially 3:14 for Dalai Lama’s reasoning in persecuting the followers of the Protector Deity Dorje ShugdenShugden. Find this video “Al Jazeera: the Dalai Lama, the Devil Within” on UA-cam to hear how the “holiness” asks his followers to persecute a group of people.

Sexual promiscuity was rampant among Tibetan monks, higher the ranking the worst. I was shocked by this book written by Tashi Tsering, a former aid to Dalai Lama's brother. Tashi came from an ordinary Tibetan family, later became a dancer for Dalai Lama. To move up the social ladder, he had to have homosexual relationship with a powerful monk & was later raped by another even higher ranking monk known for his love of young boys. Book is called "The Struggle for Modern Tibet." It disgusts me.
