- Got a chance to play a quick skirmish and the system works well. Can’t wait to dig into the campaign.
Looks like the late pledge for the campaign is closed, but it’s available through Draco Ideas’ site: dracoideas.com...
Would love to see a review or play through of this if you’ve got it to the table
Reminds me of something that Sam Mustafa would do, very interesting - thanks for the look!
nice vid. Did you know that the terrain plastic shapes actually have a very thin protective skin covering them? The creator told me some days ago. They look moreless the same without it, but a little more colourful over the neoprene scenario
I wasn't paying attention and suddenly I was forced to think, "Did he say Ferengian?"
Nice! Waiting on mine
Is there much difference between pack and traianus content wise? That is, is traianus more advanced in quality, units and or rules?
Same exact ruleset. The only difference are the campaigns and scenarios, and the units specific to whatever enemy Rome is fighting.
@@Justegarde good to know
I am more I tested in Hellenistic period and armies but I was worried that traianus might be more advanced content wise since it's newer (and most videos on UA-cam are about traianus)
The value and the artwork are off the scale, but there is no denying that the rules are very comparable, as complexity, to a regular miniatures wargame.
I actually played it last weekend, and I think they’re probably a half step to full step more simple than most other minis games I’ve played. It’s a fairly simple game engine, all things considered.
@@Justegarde hi. Great video, by the way and thanks for showing the terrain. I backed off my original pledge because of...guess what? Shipping 😢.
I've got the original and I can't stop praising what they are doing with the system, but I think it's definitely a medium complexity game. Sure, vs the like of mortem et Gloriam or fog, it's easier, but it's not, my opinion, an entry level. Not really comparable to something like C&C or Heroes of Normandie, that you mentioned in the video.
To be fair. The original edition (I've got) rulebook had a few problems. They might have fixed them in the new one.
@@Another_opinion_ I had no problems with the rules… but they did badly need a player aid for movement
Onus action cards all 98 cards list
Crowdfunding link?
It's finished. They sell it on Draco's website
