A great classical singer. He has mastered his art to perfection and reached a level which others can only admire and fall in love with. This Bairagi just gives shivers down our spine. I have heard another similar rendition of this raga by Niyaz and Faiyaz Ahmed Khan with similar lightning fast taans but the overall effect was nowhere near to this. His intense mood, heart-crashing taans, total control of his music, praiseworthy support in Tabla and overall ambience..all were just awesome. This singing is just out of the world and what a singer he must be..best in our times surely with eyes closed..Namashkar!!!!
Glad that there are singers like Jayteerth Mevundi, Anand Bhate, Kaivalyakumar Gurav are carrying forward the great, sweet tradition of Kirana Gharana. Simply marvelous !!
