Since he's selling a dead tri-colored hognose in a jar on the "Oddities" page of his website, I'm guessing it didn't 😢 (clever way of recouping the investment though. This guy's a good businessman!)
Hey I’m no expert BUT I’ve had over 12 of these guys from hatch and an ole head put me up on white fish. They actually work out well. I hope the Anoles work out for ya!!!
Doing what's best for your babies is always difficult if it's not part of your regular practice. I'm glad you're open to trying whatever it takes to help save the little sweetie. Fingers crossed!
I have one baby corn, who eat ONLY lizards(they cost for me pretty hight price) like..6 mount,or even 7-8...But i never give up,so now he is a good papa and a really big, beautiful corn 👍
The poor little thing. He's so cute. And so precious. And it's very nice to see the way that you care for your snakes. I certainly hope that he makes it and that there's nothing internally wrong with him.
try tilapia! I had a batch of albino/evans that would not eat. Tilapia did the trick and I also tossed feeder guppies in their water bowl. they seemed to enjoy that
Curious what does a feeder lizard go for, and how big? I dont keep snakes but have anole buddies in my greenhouse, id never sell them since they do a fantastic job eating pests. A few even come up to me for pats
They are fun little lizards! I use to keep a bunch as pets years ago. You can get them in all sizes. I get the smallest I can since I’m feeding baby snakes. The place I order them from charge about 40 -45 USD for 10 of them.
All snake keepers end up with "that one" that is just determined to unalive themselves. I've had babies that had to be force fed for a few weeks until they finally decided it wasn't worth it to fight me. I had checkered garters, so I had live minnows, tilapia, earthworms, pinkies. Most found something they would take at first. Borrowing a freinds frog to rub some pinkies on works too.
He just need some extra, tender, loving care, and sometimes that’s not easy. Come out from a mom of many unusual, and sometimes to say about animals. So just keep up he’ll figure it out. 😎
I'm not an expert or even experienced with snakes, but Snake Discovery has noticed that their hognose hatchlings eat better and thrive more when housed in pairs. Idk if that helps.
Don't give up I have a corn snake that was brought to me because it wouldn't eat. I assist fed her for almost 4 months before she started eating. She is 11 years old now.
I'm praying for him.. an that God will give you the the will the patience and the knowledge to be able to take care of this little guy.. he will make it 🫶🏻🙏🏼
I know a lot of people sceng hognose food by rubbing it on american toads as theyre really easy to keep. Im sure you know that, but i think its cool how people like Snake Discovery keep toads just to scent food for their picky eaters.
I had the hardest time getting a western albino to eat. I took him in from a girl who thought that he might only eat live and "couldn't do that." I tried so many things and ended up getting the tiny frog ReptiLinks as a last ditch effort. It was the only thing he would eat until I could slowly work on tricking him with scented mice.
Are you not scared look I know it's your job or hobbie but im scared of snakes but I don't know why your videos pop up but I like some so I subbed yeah
my mum had a snake called fluffy that wasn't eating well and had to have help but i think she boiled it by the way i think fluffy / the snake mentioned here is blind he has albino red eyes and i think he's blind but it is a tip to try! other tips : look at the substrate or warmth of their tank is it to warm? or to cold? is the ground of the tank not right though you'd know this i just don't want a poor lil snake to die from hunger hope this helped
i had a western hognose, she was such a picky eater, a couple times she did not eat her food and i raised it as a pet, it had to be a live pinky but to much past 3 or 4 days old, she did live for 9 years, but was barley a foot and half long and as big around as my pointer finger
Are they in their own bins or with other clutch mates? Have you tried scenting their food? I had one that refuses to eat f/t rat and will only eat mice.
Every time I take out my snack he stait's he kept going in his hide is that good or bad cause I feed him like every month the week I think I don't know but yeah
I like how the snake tried to borrow in his hand. But I do hope that the snake will start eating on his own.
Those snakes are so cute
It was so adorable. 😊
same
Same it was so cute. I hope it eats too
So freaking cute!!!
Poor snake, hope he gets better :(

@Molinaro_Snake_Lab maybe repti links? They have various things to help scent the food item maybe that can help your poor baby eat

Him wiggling his lil snoot to go through your fingers was too cute
Hognoses apparently like to live together for a while after hatching... makes them eat better...
Oh-oh-
Poor little fellow! So tiny, compared to his brothers and sisters! Damned failure to thrive strikes again! Hope you can pull him or her out of it!
Praying for the best!! You are such an amazing snake keeper I know you’ll do everything you can to help him!

Poor thing! I hope he gets better. I've never seen these kind of snakes before. They're so cute! I really hope he's okay. ❤

I wish I could have one hognose like this...these are too cute
Feeding lizards may not be your first option, but at least you're doing what's best for your snakes
You're an absolutely amazing snake dad 💖👍
I don’t give up on my snakes. He tried to say about his friends 😂.
I hope the adorable little slither rope starts eating and thriving!!!
You can see how much you love your snakes in your videos I always love watching them.
The poor little thing. He's so cute. And so precious. And it's very nice to see the way that you care for your snakes. I certainly hope that he makes it and that there's nothing internally wrong with him.

I love hognose!!! He's so freaking cute!!!
I would absolutely love to own a Hognose but it's illegal to own one in Colorado because they're almost extinct in Colorado
Cute snakes I like how tried to burrow in your hand.
Omg when he tried burrowing in your hand that mad me so happy idk why
Omg it burrowing in the hand 💙
I didn't know hognose snakes could look like that! They're so cute when they burrow, digging their little noses in everything. ❤
So sweet thankyou for not giving up on him ❤

Kinda wonder what would happen if you gave it a small but alive meal for it
Poor snake
Have you tried rubbing a pinky with toad or frog juice? Or could get ahold of Snake Discovery, Ed & Emily are amazing with hogs. Love the channel!
Remember the famous Vegan snake?! Hopefully this hog baby has the same outcome! 🤞🏽

That’s sad, I hope the little guy will get better ❤️🩹
Ha I love how he was borrowing through your fingers 🖤. I've been watching all your videos but I haven't seen an update on him yet. Did he make it?
Poor baby, I love snakes and the thought of this little lad dying is upsetting
Awww, poor snake. I hope he starts eating on his own. Their so cute!!❤
Awww. He tried to bury himself in your hand
Awww but green anoles native around here ): and there so pretty and friendly
Hognoses are just so stinking cute. I hope this little one makes it. He may just be a SUPER picky eater.
He just need some extra, tender, loving care, and sometimes that’s not easy. Come out from a mom of many unusual, and sometimes to say about animals. So just keep up he’ll figure it out. 😎
I'm sorry your snake is sick😭☹ i hope he ok and he get better soon
I'm not an expert or even experienced with snakes, but Snake Discovery has noticed that their hognose hatchlings eat better and thrive more when housed in pairs. Idk if that helps.
Those are unbelievably cute! I'm not even a snake person, so what the junk??

I'd love to talk with you about my speckled king snake!
Its common for babies to ignore food until their first ched, so try waiting for that
How deep does the bedding need for borrowing?
For adults I make it about 2 inches thick. I will also lay some flat rocks down so they can go under them as well.
The one on the left is thick! For such a short snake its looking very round 😂

These snakes are probably the cutest to me. They’re the only ones I’ve considered owning and I’m very fascinated by them.
African dormouse pinkies, if you can get them
I really wanted to get a hognose snake myself but they're just too darn expensive
Are you not scared look I know it's your job or hobbie but im scared of snakes but I don't know why your videos pop up but I like some so I subbed yeah
Sorry I’m new do you sell snakes? If so dm you ship tk other countries?
For my bday this August can I have a snake pls🙏
Poor snake :c I hope it gets to survive and eat on it's own
I have a green anole as a class pet😳

I've got a male het axanthic western hognose and have been looking for a female I can eventually make snows with
I hope this baby snakes makes it good luck to it 😭
Back in the day i had to resort to force feeding some young ball pythons.
i had a western hognose, she was such a picky eater, a couple times she did not eat her food and i raised it as a pet, it had to be a live pinky but to much past 3 or 4 days old, she did live for 9 years, but was barley a foot and half long and as big around as my pointer finger
Even though I am very scared of snakes this guy video are interesting to watch despite my fear
Please tell the boopie nephew Aunt Lu said 'straighten up!'
Are they in their own bins or with other clutch mates? Have you tried scenting their food? I had one that refuses to eat f/t rat and will only eat mice.
Black white black is a freind of jack
Good thing that isn't a coral snake
I hope he is OK. Please let us know if he made it. Poor baby. ❤
When I watch these videos I always think to myself “why do people have to hate snakes”, it really is sad
Every time I take out my snack he stait's he kept going in his hide is that good or bad cause I feed him like every month the week I think I don't know but yeah
I always love seeing your videos because I think that snakes are super cute! But do the baby snakes ever bite or try to bite you?
Маленькие змейки не ядовитые? Вы так запросто с ними обращаетесь.
Aren’t anoles as big as that little guy? What are they eating so far? Crickets??
Love how you love your snakes and will do anything for them ❤
But you're not a responsible lizard keeper 😂
Update on this snake? Hopefully he made it
😂 the way he dug his head into your hand was so fucking cute! Xxx
The snake tried borrowing in his hand omg😩❤️
Ok I used to have 2 snakes one I knew the name of it was a Albano Nelson milk snake the other I'm not sure and it looked exactly like that
My ballpython wont eat without a hide. Damn boy so sensitive
Good day, I want ask, snake isn't curst?😊
It hurts me that you have to feed it a Green Anole, since it is a native species here in Florida, but it is what it is. Hope the snake gets better.
