When I was little my dad got me a 110 in 2008, my dad had a little Honda 2 stroke dirtbike at the time, he wanted me to follow him and my 4 year old self thought we were racing, I ended up full throttling, in glamis if you know where that is and hit a jump in superman position, and I was about to hit a trailer after the jump (still going like 30mph) and my dad had to crash into me to stop, best moment in glamis since I was little 😂
Haha well that is a crazy story. I was just in gordon's well with my daughter last weekend. Thank god for dads! Thanks for checking out the video!
@@OdysseyOffroad for sure man, Like 3 years ago my 110 completely stopped working, after so many years of beating the shit out of it, rode it everytime when we were out there, we went to Gordon's that season for the desert when it stopped running I was so bumbed that I didnt have a quad, now I have a 250 pushing 260ccs blaster it's a good quad when you grow out of the polaris, but they stopped production in 2006 because I guess 2 strokes make too much carbon emission, but at the same time theres no fun like a 2 stroke in the dunes!
Awesome! Been looking for something for my daughter.
How has it held up? Was going to pick up a new one on Monday for my daughter! never been a Polaris fan but it’s the only (name brand) kids atv with reverse! Currently have a 110 Chinese quad and at first it was decent but now every time it’s ridden something needs to be fixed!
Haven't had any issues and my son beats the hell out of it. What I like most about it is it's fuel injected so no fiddling around with the carburetor and the choke He can just start up no problem by himself.
You have some cool toys brother! Looking to buy a quad for my 9yr old. Thinking this is it. My other option is a honda trx90. Btw, I'm jealous of your side by side
Hey thank you! Which side by side where you referring to I have 2. The canam or the kawasaki? I have some great video footage from UTV takeover with the Kawasaki at Sand Hollow State Park coming out within the next week or two.
The Polaris of the great Little quad my daughter loves it. The fuel injection is nice. I also just picked up a YFZ 50 for my 5-year-old boy.
i have the exact same polaris outlaw and the same paint and everything
Would you recommend the Outlaw 110 or the Raptor 90? Do you think its more of a preference or that there is a significant difference?
Well prior to the outlaw 110 we had the outlaw 90. If you don't use it a lot I recommend getting the 110 woth fuel injection. The 90 we had always had carburetor issues. These small atvs have such small carbs. They are all great machines just depends what you are looking to get out of it.
That being said i also have a yamaha yfz 50. Ill be doing a video on that one soon as well.
Not sure why your 90 always hd issues starting. My 5 year old has a TaoTao 110 and it's sits at times as well the trx250ex and neither have issues starting up after sitting. I was curious about the polaris due to it being a auto but the Raptor 90 is a auto as well. From what I have read and watched alot prefer the yamaha, whats your opinion and why you went polaris?
The raptor 90 and older polaris 90 was the same machine. Chinese made. Different plastics.
Great video, thx! I have a 9 yr old girl who is 52 lbs and 52 inches tall….she’s been riding Tao Tao 125 for the last couple years. Do u recommend this or the phoenix 200?
If she's 9 and is already been riding a 125 I would not go to a 110 that's kind of a unilateral move I would bump up in size. the Phoenix 200 probably be good but I would have her sit on them to make sure she can comfortably handle the size of the machine
Thank you for the review! I just picked one up for my son. Wondering if you can please share the measurements from the front of the tire to the rear one and from side to side? I’m trying to figure out the trailer dimensions I will need. Thank you!
Congratulations it's a great machine I'm sure he'll get many years of enjoyment out of it You're looking at about 41 inches wide by 59 in long.
I moved my 8yr old boy from a Raptor125 to a raptor 250.
7yr old daughter doesn't want to struggle with clutch. Of the 125 compared to her 90. Is this 110 significant difference to the 90 on power and what about suspension? We mostly ride in sand and dunes
The 110 and the 90 are the exact same machine only the 110 has fuel injection and a slightly bigger piston. Everything else is the same. The 110 has a couple more mph top speed.
@@OdysseyOffroad thanks for the response. Looks like she's going to have to be patient and so am I. If my son learned she can learn too.
My daughter didn't want to learn anything with the clutch either she now has a Can-Am DS250 which is also automatic I have a bunch of videos on that if you want to check those out
Hi we just bought the 2016 version of this one. Was on here trying to troubleshoot it. It worked fine for about an hour then all of a sudden started dying out while idling. Any idea why it would be doing that?
Probably dirty fuel injectors. Drain tank and fill it with premium fuel and add a bunch of Seafoam.
Ha e you had any issues with the outlaw. Just purchased one has a lot of suspension squeaks.
@@mustangg236 just throttle cable routing other than that it was perfect in the 2 years we owned it.
Figured it’s been a while, how’s it holding up if you still have it? My son’s only 3 but I have a bunch of nieces and nephews that come over that would enjoy this. I figure over time my son can learn on this one at about 4-5 or so. I learned on a 250 at 5 so he’ll be alright if I can govern it lol. I’m not big on Polaris, I’ve always had Yamaha’s and Honda’s but most everything else has a carb and I’m tired of messing with them as you can imagine haha.
My son rides the hell out of it and it's doing well. I changed the oil very regularly and use fuel cleaner in the gas. knock on wood haven't had any issues.
Do you think my 7 YO daughter would be ok with a,110 or I should start with the 70 ? It would be first time for her on a,quad other than electric 12volts one hehe
I think she'll be fine my 6-year-old is on this machine now, he was 5 when i sold his 50. You can just limit the throttle at first until she learns. Its a super stable machine.
I have a 6 year old daughter and I am getting her a first time quad. I just ordered the new polaris outlaw 70 but am now thinking it might be too small slow and boring. Should I cancel and get this one instead? I do have another kid, 2 years old now that will need to grow into one.
I would definitely do the 110 and throttle it down until she learns the 70 is going to be a waste she'll be bored of that thing in 30 days.
@@OdysseyOffroad thanks man I appreciate it. I am going to chalk up the extra 1k and just get the 110
Hey man, after a year do you have any problems with the 110 EFI
No we had no issues the whole time we owned it. My daughter recently bumped up to a 250 so we sold this one.
does it have any problems going through water?
Honestly I don't have too much experience with going through water with it, here in southern Arizona There's not much water 😂
Great video thank you...question for you, about how tall was your daughter when you filmed this? I have an 8 yr old who is tall for her age (4'5") and I'm assuming this should fit her well. Thanks
She's about 4'8, It'll be perfect for your daughter. Its a great machine. Thanks for watching If you like the video please hit that thumbs up for me!
Also You see the second quad in the video That's the same machine but it's my niece on hers and she is shorter than my daughter probably a little bit shorter than your daughter and it's perfect size for her as well.
12year old same size loves it. I ride it too but I bottom out the suspension haha
@@OdysseyOffroad I have a son he is 4’10” and he is 8 so I tried the 110 he is big on it you know any other sizes they have in Polaris
Can am 110 is EFI also
Correct, now it is. But qt the time of this video the canam was a 90cc carbureted unit. The canam renegade 110 came out for 2023 model year. Polaris was the first one to go from a 90 to a 110 efi. Even yamaha has now gone to 110 efi raptor for 2024.
Watching from Liverpool UK, just got my girls a 2022 crf 50 for there first bike, but definitely going to be purchasing one of these. Bet you have some great memories when your all out together
Absolutely! We all just went out yesterday. My daughter is on a raptor 350 now and my son is on the 110. Thank you for watching!
@@OdysseyOffroad I bet you weather's a bit better than over here in the UK ! I'll keep watching I will show my girls the videos so they can see what they will be doing soon !
@@danielpotts203 it's beautiful this time of year. Upper 60s to low 70s and sunny. Nights get cold. Thanks again for watching!
