Hy guys! I'm Fakhar Abbas from Layyah, Punjab, Pakistan. Its our 4th class of morphology. In previous classes we have discussed morphology, it's examples, morphemes, types of morphemes, free and bound morphemes and its types in detailed discussion. So in this class we will discuss about affixes which is type of bound morphemes in detail. We will discuss affixes, it's five types, Prefixes, Suffixes, Infixes, Interfxes, Circumfixes with examples and explained in Hindi/Urdu.
Affixes
The bound morphemes which are added to root words are called affixes.
Prefixes
The affixes which are added before root words are called Prefixes.
Suffixes
The affixes which are added after root words are called Suffixes.
Infixes
The affixes which are added in root words are called Infixes.
Interfixes
The affixes which are added between two contentful morphemes are called Interfxes.
Circumfixes
The affixes which are added before and after root words are called Circumfixes.

1 Prefixes. Prefixes are affixes that come at the beginning of a word, before a root word. ...
2 Suffixes. Suffixes are affixes that come at the end of a word, after the root word. ...
3 Infixes. Infixes are a special type of affix that comes in the middle of a word. ...
4 Circumfixes.
(Prefix-Definition)A prefix is an affix that attaches before its base, like inter- in international. (Suffix Definition)A suffix is an affix that follows its base, like -s in cats.(Cirfumfix-Definition) A circumfix is an affix that attaches around its base. An infix is an affix that attaches inside its base.

-ly--- forming an adverb------ love ly , slow ly.
-less------ without-------- effort less , meaning less.
-able------ able to--------- wash able , comfort able
-ing------------- forming a gerund------------- car ing , interest ing.
