Lol right I tried the rubber-band method before. And I could not hide them rubber bands😅 I think it’s the way you start twisting the beginning that covers it!
I love love love these.. Im gonna experiment other options before I decide to try this, but its on the list. You look so beautiful with this styleeeee 😍😍🥰🥰
I would recommend this style, just not this length. They ended being heavier than I expected and I only kept them in for 1.5 weeks. So I would only recommend this style if you do shoulder length
@@_jay.nicole_ I don’t remember which one exactly, but my go to foundations are NARS Soft Matte or Elf Flawless Finish. I’m sure it was one of those lol
I've personally never had any issues using the rubber band method, but its definitely not a technique that I would recommend using for back to back hairstyles.
Definitely needed this I’ve been so depressed with my starter locs I’m trying to trust the process 😢
I love the start up song!!! "My flaws don't look bad at all, ...what was I afraid of"
So cool
Thank you for sharing. I’m looking for spring break styles right now and this is perfect
I'm so confused as to what you did with that rubber band. This seems like an easier technique but I still can't quite tell what you did🤔

Sending Bay Area Love 💕 Keep slaying Queen
Love this! I’m almost 8 months in and I’m burnt out on doing box braids over my locs. What kind of aloe Vera gel do you recommend?
I wanna try this but my locs are thick
Super cute! I love the imperfect parts 🥰
Thank you so much for sharing this method! This is so clever, and I can’t wait to try it to save myself some time 😊❤
What color blend did you use to dye your natural hair??, I love it!
This is gorgeous 💞😍 may I ask if this hairstyle will not damage baby locs?

Thank you!!! ♥️
I love it what kind of hair did you use for your Marley twists
Love this, how many packs of hair did you use
How do you take this out of the starter locks?Any video on it yet? Thanks
I wouldn’t suggest doing this on starter locs so soon
Video of how you tie the rubber band around the hair ?? Your finger was covering most of it
It’s hard to see how you looped the hair into the rubber bands
Beautifully done🥰💃🏾
How many packs did you use??
I’m late, but do you know how many stands of hair are in each pack of the Marley hair ?
Did you dip the ends?
Would you recommend doing this style of starter locs of 4 months?
I would recommend this style, just not this length. They ended being heavier than I expected and I only kept them in for 1.5 weeks. So I would only recommend this style if you do shoulder length
Thank you! Also off topic lol what foundation did you use for this look?😅

And it’s water based so it washes right out!
I've always wondered if it was safe to use rubber bands on our natural hair.
It’s not, it’s damaging. Very cute style though

I heard somebody say put oil on them while you using them so they would be easy to come off
Do you remember about how many pieces come in each pack?
❤❤❤
Did you cut your water wave hair in half?
I want to try s protective style on my starter locs, but did it do any damage??
No they didn't cause any damage for me, however this particular install was kinda heavy so I ended up taking them out after about a week and half
@@SharmelLynnette ok.. thank u
Beautiful ❤
Very nice.
There's also a much easier way to do this
Yea that's cute girl 🥰🥰
lied through your teeth saying 80 inches 😭
What?? Rubber bands on starter locs? Do you know how much tension you just put on your roots?! Are you trying to lose your hair? Very bad idea.
Relax, she soaked them in oil and only kept them in for a little while
