Yeah thanks for bringing us along it was a cool explore I've never seen that ship before never even heard of it but would have been neat if you could have seen how she is supported on land if they even allow you to see that and you never got to the engine room but maybe they didn't allow you in there. That's the thing about museum ships I think that I think it's great that they're there for people to see but I don't like that they restrict what you can see I don't like that at all how's the board the USS Enterprise done in corpus Christi Texas and that was exact same way they restricted where you went but I went off to her on my own and got to see a lot of things that normal people that didn't go off the tour I got to see but if I would have got caught I probably would have been kicked off.

Yes exactly. They had the hatches closed to about 60% of the ship. On the map it showed so many rooms on the levels below but unfortunately they had the entrances closed and locked. Thank you for the comment and also I will have to check out the one in corpus.

You should always ask about a hard hat tour. There are hard hat tours on USS Lexington in Corpus Christian. Shame on you for not even bothering to remember the name of the museum ship that you supposedly were so interested in the engine room that you illegally went into the engine room without paying for a hard hat tour. They don't let people in the engine rooms in the normal self guided tour because of liability reasons due to how dangerous it is to walk around there without a helmet. And if they let anybody borrow a hard hat without any docent guiding them they will lose them later or some will steal them and never return them.

That was not a spot light. They flashed the light using Morse code signals to talk to other ships. They where a form of communication.
