Bass Flute Key Extension

In this video we extend the foot joint cluster keys of a bass flute by cutting the key arms and inserting custom made extension pieces.

Hello Jeff, what might one of those repairs price out for? I guess I could call you guys...I have the very same problem with playing bass flutes as well. I think it’s interesting that when these instruments are manufactured that even though hand position is getting better on most flutes, I still think the larger flutes could have a lot better hand feel/ergonomic feel. I love your videos by the way too and am looking into maybe getting one of those flute stations :)
