Some of the best photographic views of my country I have every viewed on Utube, a great work of art, accompanied by the perfect music, great taste thanks.
UA-cam videos like yours, draw me back to Scotland - and I've only just returned. My dream has always been to capture Castle Stalker with a sky like that, alas it's never happened.
Graham, wonderful set of images, I can see you put your heart and soul into it. As I am going to visit Scotland for the first time in about six months, your have inspire me and will help my visualize my images as I plan to visit several of the areas in your video. Cheers.
Merci pour ces merveilleuses images d'un pays pas comme les autres. Merci d'avoir ajouté le nom des endroits, c'est important pour les futurs voyageurs. Une question, qui est cette femme qui chante? Elle a une voix magique. Thank you M. Brown and go ahead!
Inspirational! Best landscape shots I have seen in years. I'm on my way to Ireland in March. if my results are 1/10 what you have created, i will be satisfied.
Glad I stumbled over this. Great work, you must have spent a long time taking and processing those images. Definitely images as an enthusiast I aspire to capture. Thanks for sharing, do you have any videos of how you went about taking these images, settings camera filters?
thanks for your reply Brian. I always kept to iso 100 with apertures between f11 and f16 and the only filter I used was a circular polariser. We had 2 weeks holiday each year in Scotland over a 10 year period so these are some of the best images I took over this period. To get good images you need to get the right weather and in Scotland the weather changes so quickly and you just have to be patient. graham
GRAHAM BROWN thanks Graham, I am originally from Scotland, and I hear you in regards to the weather. Did you do post processing at all, what platform did you use if any? Have you thought about making vlogs on capturing these images, a bit like Thomas Heaton etc? I adore your images and especially how you have selected your angles, love the shot looking down over Eilean Donan Castle, I had never seen it photographed from there before. While I was watching it, I was like this is a collection, that must have taken a long time to capture. You are very humble to share a lifetime of work in one video. I really appreciate it. Phenomenal work and very inspiring. When I get back, a wee jaunt back to Scotland would be just the ticket... your work is very inspiring and thank you for sharing. Out of curiosity, what camera did you shoot these images on?
@@brianbrooking496 Hi Brian, I do have photoshop but I only make small adjustments e.g contrast, temperature, etc. where necessary. I do very little processing because I take lots of different exposures at each spot using different exposure settings and in this way there is usually one image exposed as I want. Hope this helps. Graham
GRAHAM BROWN much appreciated, it helps a lot. I have been doing the same but in reality hoping I can get one right. I just figured out how to turn on the histogram and understand what the light meter was telling me. Been a long learning curve, but will keep plodding on.. your Stonehaven shots are braw, I lived there for a short while and I loved the harbour, you captured it beautifully. This is singlehandedly the best collection of photos I have seen of Scotland. Thank You
Thanks for your comment Val. I'm afraid I have closed my website as I do very little photography now. I can be contacted on grabro@hotmail.co.uk. Graham
Only need a map so I can´t get lost and I will be there, I hope I can climb one of those hills before it is too late for my knees, the land of my dreams
An absolutely stunning body of work. If I could make one image to compare with one of these I would consider myself blessed. Thank you. P.S. Even the music complimented the pictures which is unknown on youtube.
Stunning Photos, but the colours are a bit to strong by photoshop. We stood there 2 month ago and it was never so colourful. I had to push my fotos too
GRAHAM BROWN thank you. I plan a 10 days journey in Scotland first week of April 2019. I will be very happy if I could submit my travel plan to have your valuable opinion whether it's timely feasible or I have overlooked some nearby must see spots.
Roberto Targa yes that's fine Roberto, i will help if i can. Bear in mind my favourite spots fot photography are Glencoe area and Wester Ross area.Graham
