I went for the “By Night” flanker, found it more mature and heavy, less orange blossom, but still sweet. More honey and skanky as well, which suits me like a glove, haha. Honey overdose. 🤘🏼

I received this as a gift and at first didnt like it at all, but it grew on me since it smells really nice on my skin.
And surprisingly, it doesnt give me a headache as most sweet perfumes do( hence lveb).
Btw, this is a great review as always!
I just bought mine and I'm disappointed. Not sweet at all. Doesn't last. I'm wondering if its a dupe but it looks like the original 😔
Great review! I think I'll have to buy this one and the Essence de Parfum, they both sound gorgeous. Do you have Fragile, or have you smelled it? I had that one back in the 90s as well as the original JPG fragrance. Fragile EDT lived up to its namesake as a delicate white floral, but the EDP seemed more heavy and lush if memory serves me correctly.
I have it and I Love it it's my favorite and have got alot of complemts everytime they want to know what Iam Wearing!!!!

I did too! I was shocked when I saw that it had been rereleased by Givenchy! I have such an attachment to it that the empty bottle from twenty years ago sits proudly displayed. Please consider wearing this for a week sometime, as I know it will captivate you😍

I have a lot of ''sweet '' or gourmand type perfumes and i want to give new one a try for my collection but i'm little bit confused to buy victor&rolf flowerbomb nectar or Jean paul gaultier's scandal.!?!I love them both but wanna ask u if you tried VR nectar ,which one would you prefer?? I love your reviews :)
Denizonal88 i have VR Nectar. I love it. I also love Scandal by Night...they smell similar. I can’t stop sniffing my arm. I get a lot of compliments with Flowerbomb Nectar. I just received Scandal by Night today. 🥰
Oh thank you for confirming my first reaction to this perfume! I lam also late to the table. Also LOVE JPG's Essence de Classique one as well, but Scandal doesn't smell sweet on me at all! How can that be?? All I got was a gritty, dark, herbal, catch the back of your throat something (what is it???) and it never changed from that. It lightened up a bit and then just stayed there for 9 + hours. Ug. Yuck. La Belle= the same! Beautiful bottle, but smokey and smelled like what is traditionally churned out as a "man's" fragrance. Silly I know, but they are marketed as sweet. I have patchouli in other fragrances and have no problem with it in those, so maybe it's the licorice? Vetiver? I only wish I knew.....
There is a bees' wax in this. All I have ever tried with this note tends to have a medicinal element. Think Seville l'Aube by L'Artisan. I suspect that is what underlies this composition.

I love the Scandal by Night. It reminds me of Flowerbomb Nectar 🥰. I’m curious about the original version 🤔. What do you mean by the honey smells dirty?
Sometimes honey can have a weird smell, which can be.....well...a bit pissy haha. In this one it's kinda rough and animalic, but still friendly enough to wear. :)

I also like Bath and Body Works Lavander Honey perfume but its too light and has no lasting power. I’m curious🤔. I will try and see...
ouch110 Fragrance Reviews I finally bought a sample and tried it on today. I understand what you mean now about the piss smell. But only in the beginning. When it dries down, I love the scent. It reminds me of a perfume that my classmate’s mom from grade school in the 70s or 80s wore that I love. Have you smelled the original YSL Opium? Does the dry down if Scandal smell like Opium? If I can’t find Opium, I might get this.
If I have Jimmy Choo Illicit do I need this one? How different are they?

Its too sweet , another mainstream frag like, la vie est belle / black opium Etc . Every major frag brands are coming out with this hybrid gourmand - oriental (ish) frags
