Hey I’m going into my sophomore year at MSU. I was just going through random UA-cam videos and thought this was a great video! I agree on a lot of what you mentioned and 100% agree on the sweet potato fries
Hi! I'm applying to MSU next fall as a transfer student and was wondering if you wanted to talk about you application and the essays you wrote. Thank you!
Savannah Miles the application process wasn’t very complicated, I’m pretty sure I only had to write one essay and I just wrote it kinda on the spot and didn’t really even edit or revise it. As long as you put a decent amount of effort in it I think you’ll be fine! Good luck!!
I’m thinking of applying to MSU and I just was curious about your experience. Did you make friends easily? would you recommend applying? finding a roommate? Things to do outside of campus?
Lilly Rodgers I would absolutely recommend applying!! It can be difficult to make friends at first because the campus is so big and it’s easy to become overwhelmed. I would recommend rooming with someone you know in real life and not going in blind!! As far as things to do, my friends and I would hang out in each others’ dorms and occasionally go to Grand River to eat. There’s also a really nice gym near my old dorm and we spent a lot of time there!
Hello Chloe , My name is Mahdi Naouar and i am an exchange student from Tunisia who will be studying in MSU next year , i want to thank you for your videos they really helped me know some amazing things about life in MSU as a student . Also i want to ask you about the housing , in my application i am asked to fill a residence hall request but i am not very familiar with the residence halls in MSU , could you give an idea about them and which one would you recommend for me ?
Naouar Mahdi I would recommend Holden Hall which is where I lived my freshman year! It has its own dining hall and spartys store and is very close to central campus . It also has a bus stop right outside of it which you will use most of the time!! Lots of freshmen live in Brody neighborhood which is a really nice area but in my opinion it seems very far from the rest of campus and it’s kind of on its own. North neighborhood is really pretty (it has all the super old buildings) but they have community style bathrooms which you might not like!
there are tons of off campus options! a lot of ppl I know have had issues w DTN leasing company so I would be careful w them. I recommend Red Cedar Flats, they're very modern and each bedroom has their own bathroom! also 25 east apartments are good and cheaper than most around the area
