If you have closely looked at the new and old carriculum books (grade 11 maths) the newer one tend to be easy. But as a special school (boarding) student, here the questions they give us is not as much easy. It is a little bit challenging than the questions on the newer carriculum book. Shortly I wanted to say, can you please work us a video at the end of each unit that is about questions which are not the actual exercises on our text book. But instead challenging questions which include most of the steps. You may extract them either from the old carriculum book or newer one no problem. And it may be from review exercise, other exercises and examples on our text book. Or you can also prepare questions which are related to the lessons in the unit by yourself or you can bring them from other additional books and other sources like on the Internet. But you know I am not asking you to do many questions as the review questions of the text book, if it include all the necessary lessons, 5 or 10 questions are enough. No need for redendancy, because we can practice more by other questions on exercises. Just review questions by which we can conclude the hole lessons in the unit within a short period of time. I know it will need you an additional time and effort, but as a professional teacher you also have to make your students professional by professional questions. Thank you for your suggestion yes it a good one. My biggest issue is time to recoded But I will do my very best to get extra questions from my engineering books or other internet sources. I would also appreciate if you could send me questions that you think are challenging, that would be very helpful. JFYI I am not a professional teacher. I am sharing my knowledge to you guys by refreshing my memory (reading your books…) from High school. My knowledge is limited & I consider myself and you guys a team to learn from each other. I was one of the special school like you in high school (used to be called “special students class”) I understand you get harder questions than the book. But do you believe in hard questions? To me if we get the concept no question is hard but I totally understand your point
You're right Betty. If we get the concept, there is nothing to be very difficult. And for that matter, your videos are so helpful. And I want to appreciate the significant talent, time and hardwork put in to the content of your videos. As you mentioned it, the main thing is getting the concept of the lessons. And that is enough and no need to bother you. But What I meant to say is; when you (Betty) do d/t exercises including review questions, just save them which you suppose them challenging or good for memorization and then you can repost those particular questions by editing or cutting from the original videos. And if you get other similar questions you can also include them. Because you know when you need to go back and read previous lessons or units, there are a lot questions and examples out there. And if you decide to do them all, it consumes a lot of time especially when you need to prepare yourself for University entrance exam. So such questions are useful for preparation of bigger exams like Entrance exam and final exams even for previous units or your previous videos. B/c as we are supposed to read them all again (grade 9-12 but especially grade 11 &12). As you said I will try to provide you questions which seems to me good for what I told you. But I don't know how can I give you the questions (you can give me links through which I can give you those questions). If you are able to do it, that is good; However If you can't, no problem.
