Good on ya, Tom! Listenin' from Idaho - I can tell you your pod - along w/ many of your contemporaries (Harry, Soph, AFTV, Andrew n James, Jess, Clive n Elliot) - you have allowed me a connect to the team I've loved for 50+ years - and the widening pond of fans stretched 'round the globe. Best wishes for your move & can't wait for episode 1K. Let's go get City & Up The Arsenal!!💥
Our refs are so bad their integrity is being questioned, kind of says it all really. And Lisandro Martinez: he compensates for his lack of defensive skill by just being a thug. That doesnt doesnt make you a hardman just for the record, just makes you dirty.
I have been here isnce episode 1 altohugh i rarely catch a live show. Congratulations on reaching 500 Tom - here's looking forward with 500,000 more and good luck with the move.
Congrats Tom on moving up the property ladder. It has been a pleasure to watch your growth and transition out of teaching. You are an inspiration and you're doing a great job! Best of luck!
No essay today Tom. Missed the full show and will watch later. Only thing I want to say is that if you watch City's last goal, Raya almost makes what would have been one of the greatest saves in the history of football. He sticks his leg up for the rebound from a sitting position, attempts to get contact on it, somehow does, but it still goes in. If he had of pulled that off to save the game. Oh my days.
Congrats Tom, when u love what u do these milestones are possible. The nervous energy is flowing, hopefully Arsenal can get a positive result today, i.e. draw or win.
I will think of a bit of a twist in midfield.. Timber and Rice, Havertz with Califiori on the left as Jurrien got the stamina to cover spaces and support Martinelli.
RE Rice at 6, there is literally only one question mark over Rice playing at 6, but it is a pivotal one, the ball progression, and we have solved it by another player coming deep to be the distributor. But you do sense the Mikel wants a 6 that can both mop up and break the lines from deep so he can play his preferred 433 and not have to drop another player in there. Maybe having Calafiori and Timber as the inverted left back solves the problem, but if it doesn't then we keep a double pivot in a 4231, OR he plays Rice as the 8 and someone else as 6. It doesn't seem like Mikel has decided fully what he is going to do about it yet, it's going to be interesting to see how he finally solves it
Here's to 500 more! I'm off to visit my dad's gaff and see my cousin Susan who is over from abroad. Not seen her since I attended her wedding in Canada back in 2009. Have a great afternoon all!
Not sure about the Partey hating. He scored a priceless goal v Villa and although not at top of his game, is doing his best to shield and keep the ball moving. And v Spurs sorry how slow did Jorginho! Caught on ball, unable to make up ground if ball lost etc but no one mentioning it??
“Hating” What on Earth is wrong with people… you can’t say anything critical, even when backed up with 3 seasons worth of stats that highlight a downturn in a discussion of who should start… and get told “you’re hating” People need to get a grip and realise that criticism exists and praise exists and it isn’t necessarily because you’re either a hater or a shill… its mad to me
Excuse me for being late to the News Show! Disappointed that we couldn’t retain the lead and grab the 3 points, but we did well to keep them from taking those points.
Isn't the handball by the spurs goalkeeper similar to lehmann in the champions league final? You just can't handle the ball as a goalkeeper outside the box - its got nothing to do with offside?
Q Why not stick with what works? Stick with Partey and Rice in the MF with either havertz or Troussard. Don’t put someone in MF that hasn’t practiced significantly
So tired of seeing these referees continue to ruin the league’s professional integrity. Be prepared for the referees to “mess up” in favor of City this afternoon. They do have their favorites after all.

Congrats on 500 episodes of the Transfer show. Been with you since August 2022 and haven't missed a vid!
News show*
Same I think I started June-july 2022. Great stuff!
If xhaka did that lisandro challenge, he would have a season ban.

I just watched MotD with my son and daughter and was genuinely stunned that the handball wasn't mentioned.
Feeling oddly confident. 2-0, Saliba and Saka to score. 500 news shows, fantastic!🎉
We love all new changes!
Remember Leno was sent off a few seasons ago for arsenal for handling da ball outside the box
Different rules if it is an Arsenal player.
yes from Strasbourg,i have been with you for a long time 🎉🎉🎉❤❤🎉🎉

Tou guys need to stop with this timber in midfield story. If arteta disnt play zinchenko in midfield he will never play timber there.
@@bennymotalem340 Have you seen Timber in the midfield at Ajax? Watch then comment.
Timber in midfield is the next stage move

I’m so nervous! COYG!!! ❤⚪️
Tom you were still a teacher when I started watching you mate. Think I first saw you on The Same Old Arsenal

Good plan and a victory let's show them we aren't pretenders
i cant say i was there but i do watch you everyday congratulations on the 500

One nil to the Arsenal ❤🤍
Top of the League! 2-1 ARSENAL! Trossard & Sterling for the winner!⚽️⚽️🏆
Expressions should have used Nord last night 😂😂😂

Hey Tom, congratulations on reaching 500 shows!
Leno, Iwobi, Smith-Rowe and Nelson, Fulham are the Arsenal B Team! 😃
Well we got screwed again, i can't believe a draw away to city feels so much like a loss, I'm livid (and I'm usually pretty chill....)
Rice is a very good 8. As a 6, he’s one of the best in the world.

Have a smooth transition to new house 🤞😊
Give a chance to Calafiori and Starling
Arsenal overall has pretty poor possession stats because of tough fixtures it's harsh to blame Partey only. ( He has been hit and miss tho)

@@DuaneWest-o1y What was it I said? Referees can’t help themselves in this league but to make it about themselves.
@@DuaneWest-o1y Yes. Like today. Did you watch at all?
@@DuaneWest-o1y Sure you did buddy 🤣
I hope we don't get chinned like AJ. Will happily take a draw right now.
1-1 draw we knick a draw late on
The cover up of the day.
On catch up here Tom , but I think you should have said Fulham had 2 noteworthy scorers! 🥹
You’re right
@@TheGoonerTalkTV congratulations on the milestone Tom 👏🏾
And Eddie stood himself & Palace well, too!
