Fun fact about this AMAZING song: It doesn't play well in mono! I know this song from Kaizo Trap, and I have it on my main playlist on Spotify ever since. Today I was listening to my playlist on an Echo Dot (that plays songs in mono, because it only has one speaker) and I noticed some elements missing when this song started playing. At first I thought it was playing only one channel, but after testing on my earbuds I saw it wasn't the case. I switched Spotify to mono mode, and then saw the problem. In summary, some frequencies cancel each other in this song if you play it on mono mode.
That was one of my biggest mistakes writing this song. I made some of the synths way too wide when producing it back in the day and never tested it in Mono 😂 So listening to it on some phones sounds really weird. I always wanted to back and change it, but unfortunately the original file has corrupted and all I have is the mixdown now. 🥲 But thanks for your input! I'm glad someone else noticed it too!
