i feel like modern and beta have their own place i play both if i want less complicated gameplay i go for beta but if i want more complicated gameplay i go for modern or modern modded

idk modern gameplay just feels... bloated, to me. theres just a lot of stuff that gets added that feels more like DLC than like an addition to the game if that makes sense. like the difference between an old mc update and the Aether mod
