I had to treat myself the way I was always people pleasing and giving! I become my own best friend, motivator, and developed a connection to a power greater than myself -also Lots of counseling, self help, programs! Candice has taught me so much! ❤

I experienced this 2 mornings ago. I just was sitting on my couch with my dog having coffee and I had a feeling come over me but I just was able to be in it and all of a sudden a lot of things became clearer and that feeling of not being able to take care of myself went away. I always do and have , in fact I have taken care of others first. I always figure it out. My mother was big on shame . If she didn't completely ignore any big emotion I had I remember her saying " Shame. Shame on you". I also remember the "you are too sensitive", why do you cry so much?" YOU are too much" or "none of the other kids care - if you just wouldn't care so much everything would be ok " This is so freeing . ❤
It is not easy to get rid of never ending cycle of self blame because he is doing it from time immemorial. Self doubt may affect confidence, i think positive self talk can slowly built confidence

I will check out what is 11am eastern time i always thought there was 12 hours in time differnece between UK and America. So any way this morning at 6am with my eyes closed "I acknowledge the distress i experinced at/with - - - i now have compassion for that distress and who i was then. to see if i can untangle myself. 27/2 i went onto Sertraline for the flashbacks that had hijacked my mind but i have a lot of anger to them still as i did not express myself and was too scared to becasue of retaliation and fear of the consequences. this week i staryted saying "I need not obey when they arise 20 years ago i use to say no reaction no response and this week i started a new breathing exericise in for one out for one 40 times and did that 5 times to quieten my mind down. so it is not so much suspend the mind from fear doubt and distress. it is more suspend the mind from attachement preoccupation judgement and the need to identify. good video
