I'll still love this siren, even if it does get replaced. Think you can come to Lacona, IA in Warren County sometime and check out the noon blast and the alert? The pitches between these two are very different. The Lacona siren's blast goes off every day except Sunday at 7 a.m., noon, and 6 p.m., and is tested every first Saturday of the month at 1 p.m., if I recall correctly. Maybe you can check out the siren in Carlisle, IA too.
