I prohibited the loud zikr due to it being an innovation. I have not turned towards the fruits and benefits of it. One day I was serving my shaykh (Khawaja Baqi Billah) whilst we were dining. Shaykh Kamal who was a sincere friend of my Shaykh (Khawaja Baqi Billah) said the name of Allah loudly as he began to eat. Shaykh Baqi Billah رحمة الله عليه became so unhappy and said to me that shaykh Kamal should not come to have food with us due to his action.

For each time it's different. For example we do the loud zikr, to make youngsters come this way.
Also Sayyiduna Bilal RadhiAllahanhu was saying Allah Hu akbar loudly, then the Kufar would torture them. Then Sayyiduna AbuBakr RadhiAllahanhu came and said to do the silent zikr. Once again Sayyiduna Bilal RadhiAllahanhu still said it out loud. Sayyiduna Abubakr RadhiAllahanhu said why didn't u do the silent zikr. Sayyiduna Bilal RadhiAllahanhu said the loud it better because it gives the power and more energising.
