If you could do a video on how to rig the line on this type of Salvimar roller (same one on a few of their guns), I'd be eternally grateful. Their instructions are less than worthless.
Thanks for the video, would you say there’s a noticeable noise increase with the roller assist or is that why you went with a thicker dyneema line for it? Thanks
There's actually less noise on a roller gun, it sort of accelerates the shaft out the muzzle more gradually, rather than BOOMing it out the muzzle, if that makes sense.
That makes perfect sense. I was curious if having that extra 6 inches of dyneema(the load assist) cutting through the water when your shoot would make any noticeable sounds, since a roller is inherently quiet but it seems like it doesn’t. Thanks for getting back!
Hello. Thanks for all your intros. What should be the length of 3.2cm dyneema underneath between trigger and elastic bands for best performance? For salvi metal 95 roller..thanks bro.
Hey man, I recently got myself a salvimar roller + reel however to my surprise after shooting/shaft disengaged, the gun does not float. Unlike my Salvimar Hero/Metal. Do you face the same problem? Is the gun too heavy? Any reviews from yourself or any of your customers?
Hey Andrew! I was wondering if it would be a good idea to put a MVD Roller System on the Salvimar Metal Atlantis 115cm...would the trigger mech hold strong? What is your opinion between the MVD Roller Pro G2 Dual System, MVD Roller Compact G2 Dual System or the plain MVD Roller Pro G2 Ball Bearings vs Salvimar roller on your video? I'm planning on buying either the Salvimar Metal Atlantis 115cm or the Seac Sub Guun 30 Makaira 115cm and putting a roller system on it.. but I am undecided..
Why not just make one out of a carbon barrel? :o We have em for around $90...... either way the G2 pro bearing is the better one, but they all work well in the end. The Salvi metal trigger will hold no problem at all..... the Salvi is a better speargun than the Seac ;x
I have thought about that! It's just that I am not State-side right now and won't be until around Spring time.. It's not easy to get parts over here in the Azores as everything is shipped and takes a Long time to arrive.. How about the Pro G2 Dual System? is it better than the Pro G2 ball bearing? I am def leaning for the Salvimar for sure! And more so right now thanks to You! :) Plus, I've got an amazing offer for the Salvimar Metal Atlantis...$150+shipping any length from 115cm to 145cm... I'm leaning for the 115 or 125cm as I mostly go for the rocks and down to 60ft clear blue water... We get huge AJ's and Wahoo over here...115 or 125cm with the roller setup would be perfect I believe, would you agree?
@@NautilusSpearfishing ok great thanks :) do you stock the salvimar hero 115 and the roller head? And is the standard muzzle easily removed from the hero? Id like to be able to use the normal version as well as the roller version.
@@NautilusSpearfishing ok so the muzzle is only held in place by a screw and the o rings and not glued or anything? If thats the case ill stop by and have a look and then gun and'll probably pick it up 😃 That way i wont have to choose between roller or standard but can switch it up depending on what i want 😃
Excellent tutorial on rigging this type of system. Thank you.

what is your opinion on this rifle? im about to buy it
Hello there. What are your thoughts on putting a roller muzzle into the salvimar v pro 75?.
You prob got a short speargun? Reel also helps add weight to it if it is 85cm or shorter will prob sink.... Not enough air inside the tube. :O
@@NautilusSpearfishing ahhhh perhaps you're correct. Gun is short 85cm. Thanks bud. You're the man!
I decide to buy salvimar roller.
Thank u.
