Yes Mark is eating much the same food in Bhutan because that's what the people eat but each time that food is prepared by different hands and Mark shows great respect and appreciation for that. Food always tastes better and never grows old when you consider the hospitality of those who prepared it and that he would discuss the repetitiveness of the food is unnecessary for us since we can see that. I am so appreciative to Mark for showing the food, the people, and the land of places I might never have the chance to visit and am relieved to see an English speaking vlogger being respectful of cultures and people. There are other travel vloggers who could learn from him. Not that I wouldn't appreciate him taking smaller bites now and again :)
Bhutan has been one of my favorite series. I was disheartened seeing the response from some viewers recently. This is a beautiful culture and watching you eat traditional dishes regularly made a, once unfamiliar culture to me, relatable. Mark and Ying, thank you and keep up the brilliant work!
Mark is a nice authentic guy. I enjoy watching his youtube videos. Some people need to appreciate cultural differences and food. I'm not sure if I will eat all that kind of food but for sure I appreciate human warmth and contact, and that is what Mark is showing to all of us worldwide.
I have absolutely enjoyed this series Mark. Considering Bhutan is a tiny landlocked country high up in the Himalayas I thought the food looked fresh, varied and yummy. The people were so friendly and welcoming. The country is breathtakingly beautiful. And your presentation and explanations are as always great. Thank you very much
People are complaining that the food is getting repeated but Mark I loved your trip to Bhutan..Lovely Hospitality, Great People and Nice homely cooked food..What else one need on a trip?
I have enjoyed the Bhutan series immensely! Key ingredients in the food are the wonderful hosts that serve it. I would choose a home farm stay meal with a hospitable Bhutanese family over a "5 star" restaurant any day. Thank you for these videos!
Wow I must be the only one that actually enjoy mark's Bhutan series. Everyone seems to complain about how boring and repetitive it is?! just stop watching and wait until mark uploads a different series. Problem solved ! Don't leave mean unnecessary comments!
I agree with you, but you are not the only one who enjoys Mark's Bhutan-series. Several millions of his subscribers do. Best wishes to you Sesa from Mark's biggest fan in Norway.
Mark is repeating everything out of respect for the hospitality of the host preparing it... nothing wrong with that..besides one simple meal can be prepared in so many different ways by so many people..how does not everyone not know this. Great job Mark keep going !!✋😃😄
Mark, loved how you appreciate others cooking homemade food for you. Even though you didn't sway to the right and close your eyes as much it's ok I'll still watch you enjoy food!
Love Mark's Bhutan series and also his other videos, He always smiles and seems to enjoy every food he eats, i wonder if he actually doesn't like some food. And man, he eats a huge amount of chili, Mark, how do you cope with stomach burning from chili? Mark is always happy, simple and sweet. Never says anything bad about any food or culture. Always finds something nice to say and really enjoys everything.
Mark, Yin’s thank you fro sharing your adventure of different foods and the Hospitality of the people that host you in different Countries. God blessed you both.
people been complaining about the same food...but mark you do great at what you do...it remind me of being hmong because every party or every house hold makes the same food too lol...we make what the earth gives us and thats what Bhutan does...
Mark's Bhutanese series is one of my favorites. The people are so warm and welcoming, and I loved the boy who showed them around. I did not get tired of the food repetition because each one seemed different and delicious to me.
that scenery when the sun comes up behind the mountains just really beautiful.. and the home cook meals along this trip looks good too, love this Bhutanese food series..
Love the hospitality of the people and the landscape. I really enjoy watching you and Ying travel to different countries. Thank you for all the wonderful food.
I am so grateful to Mark and Ying for showing us all these wonderful places where half of us will never be able to go also for his love and respect for the people and the food that they offer, we get to meet the people through them I think we are very lucky that they travel and show us these wonderful foods and people and the places he goes. Please don't stop Mark people like myself may never get to visit these places and eat their wonderful food, for a short time I'm visiting these places through you and Ying thank you so much ...
true but how many people would ever think to go there for a holiday to meet the people and stay on a farm, I would love to go there but that will be a dream for now, its a beautiful place and the people are so kind and generous wonderful people
Bhutan's butter tea&buck/barely wheat flour is similar food in the entire himalayan region such as nepal,tibet,ladakh/kargil &in baltistan(northern most of pakistan).
Such a wonderful video Mark. Easy for viewers to tell, Yak Meat is extremely lean with almost no fat. Heaven on earth does exist for the living, a great example is expertly presented.
You can, Chris. Here is our tour inspired by Mark's trip: food.mybhutan.com/. It was such a joy hosting Mark and we are excited to welcome his fellow foodies to Bhutan.
- 14:39 - Dude - experiencing the culture is sooo rewarding to me. It's what I live for! I don't want to just read about it, see it in a magazine, or watch it on TV...I want to go there and FEEEEL IT!! 😇
This is the type of video that I really enjoy!! Yes, I like seeing the different foods and meals, but when you and Ying show what the area has to offer... THAT'S what I enjoy!! You being silly and hearing Ying giggle in the background...so adorable!! Beyond that, the area you are in has an exquisite rustic beauty I just can't get over!! Thank you for sharing your videos!
Mark the turnip greens looked very good, it is a staple food here in the southern US. We also eat the turnip roots as well and I so love your video's. You give me the opportunity to see the world and it's culture's and I love it. God Bless.
I started watching your Seoul videos a couple of months ago, leading into all of the others. Your stage presence is great, your introduction to the world is so informing and your wife Ying is just adorable. I am Korean and I am very impressed by your entire presentation. I look forward to keep on watching
i've really been enjoying these bhutan videos. some people might complain of the 'repetitiveness' which is actually pretty rude and.. totally silly tbh because it might be the same dish but it is prepared by different people and eaten in different settings. i didn't know anything about bhutanese food and culture before watching mark's videos and it's sooo interesting! would love to visit it one day though i read it's quite expensive and they are strict about foreigners visiting?
Such a lovely local family! Feels like they hosted Mark with their kind heart! Typical village style but thats where feels the real hospitality! Much love 💕
I like all your food videos! Especially, the ones from Bhutan. I watched most of them. I really enjoyed watching them. Keep coming up with good food videos! Love it!
Mark Wiens... I love watching your ventures. The destinations, the food and especially the people. Bhutan & Phobjikha Valley is something special and your graciousness, appreciation for the hospitality of these kind people is beautiful. Always look forward to seeing your next vlog but for now I must go & feed my hunger cos watching you eat is such a challenge.. A modern kitchen with modern foods simply doesn't compare but I just imagine it's similar to what you are having.. Love you guys!!
Come on people if it were not for Mark for his food travel vlogs then we don’t get to experience diverse cultures and religions, outstanding countries or tasting foods from all walks of the world, have some compassion or channel, unsubscribe skedaddle out of here. Haere ehoa ma. My appreciation and gratitude to Mark and his family for caring sharing and loving. Shandi
Kia Ora Mark and family, people are very expressive at making negative remarks when it comes to “how you eat or how to eat” so who passes judgement on their eating, not you. Other comments complaining that Ying should be more visually involved in your videos, but I don’t understand why , it’s no ones business but your own, quite often complaining that you should share your food with your wife and child , my gosh, again no one knows your arrangements or relationship but you and your wife. It peeves me off when social media have the audacity to criticise your family affairs or how to run your vlogs particularly when their assumptions of your food travels are all being funded by sponsorship as if you don’t work for it and putting your hard hours and personal fundings provided by yourselves is also no ones business . Mark, bless your heart and soul to you and your beautiful wife and child, don’t never stop or be put off, both you and your wife are blessed to have each other , it’s so ying and yang harmony, out of which you both have a beautiful child Micah. I am very proud of you and your family, don’t let the minority disuade you by any means. Kia kaha, Kia u, Kia manawanui...(Be strong, stand tall, and take care.) Tino Arohanui . Shandi 💐 🦋 💜 ✨ 🇳🇿
hey mark i really enjoy watching your videos.. and i dont care if the food all the same i still enjoy it! your a great youtuber i hope u contine it. neway take care. love to u n ur wifu. xxx
