- Not many designers can claim to have influenced most, if not all, of their contemporaries. British visionary Vivienne Westwood is the rare exception. For proof, look no further than the front row at her first-ever Paris show for Fall 1991.

Vivienne Westwood’s First Paris Show - #TBT with Tim Blanks - Style.com
Starring: Tim Blanks - Навчання та стиль
Vivienne Westwood without a doubt is one of the greatest modern designers. She has always created clothes that were beyond trends. But rather creating clothes that reflect our societies and express real emotions. She is the queen of cool not only for creating punk, but for always being genuine about her views of beauty, politics, history, the ways of the world. I think the 90's was a very exciting time in fashion, and in English culture. It was a very exciting time. And I think we are thirsty for something like that to happen again. Something really exciting and new, i think the 2020's will be something like what happened in the 90's and in the 60's.
Wow. When you have de Castelbajac, Lacroix, Gaulthier and Galliano singing your praises, you know that you're a big deal!
Absolutely the only fashion designer I follow with total admiration!
Yes I would have loved to been there!
I do wish I'd had seen these shows, but more in a case of time travel haha because I love being 18 at this moment in time. Vivienne Westwood is still however one of my biggest influences!

Vivienne is aHarry Potter of fashion..❤her..the magic glamour..
why she had to leave the historicism for the asymmetry I don't understand, her visual lexicon WAS the cultural plunder of the past- from Pirates and Witches.. now we get what? Wonky satin bin bags ruched....
