We need house with land space at the back to do our own farming very important so we eat what we grow sell or freeze the surplus.
Spent 30 million and you tell me I can't do No addition... Really...take 30 million and buy lot of land build something better and have change left....
Home owners association, that's Americans thing ,those rooms are very small, normally a regular room is 12ft long and 12ft wide in Jamaica 🇯🇲, get the heck out of here with those little things.
@@appachie9965 That's was I am saying the living room can't hold Nothing... EVERYBODY come a Jamaica 🇯🇲 with their EXPLOITATION to the Jamaican people... HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION 🥴 PLEASE ...
Might I add that there is a primary school and 2 top rated high schools just a few minutes walking distance. I attended The Denbigh high school right across from there
I really love the area and the space, beautiful homes. Great job guys.
Only down fall for me is you can't add on because of association
The sq footage too small for the price
Exactly!! In Jamaica mi notice everyone is building apartment building and so called luxury property to make 100 times the money. 1200qf for 22 million ?? That’s 220 thousand U.S dollars.
why people dislike videos is beyond me, anyhoo thank you for this video because i didn't even know glenmuir had this potential. keep doing your thang family!
I was thinking the same thing , there is something for everyone out there and these home are build to have a diverse community from the video , i personally thought they were nice to look at maybe not what i would buy but that ok , besides when you live in America for a while at lease for me Georgia mansion style house is just a talking point. Jamaica is about the weather, good food and family and few friends.🤔🇯🇲🇸🇳
@@trevorbailey1448 right just appreciate the time and effort they put into making the video. if they didn't record what you want to see ask the question.
Great video! as per usual💗...but i guess some might " dislike" because of the fact that (they can't do any addition) ijs...
@@trevorbailey1448 at these prices people have to enslave themselves...when will they have time for that if they are working even more than their typical 16-18 hour work days? Where in Jamaica can you work that that type of money to pay off this unit in 30 years? Just give the bank off your paycheck and eat air cakes? Even if you work abroad, you have to sustaintain your living expenses abroad too. Can't eat from the soup shop and live under the bridge?
I am moving to Ghana in an Estate similar to this project. I appreciate your channel. So classy and educational. I love you both.
You're the best content creator in my observation. I am from Clarendon Jamaica.
If you both decide to visit Ghana I will definitely host you both.
Blessings to you both.
Congratulations on your UA-cam journey.
I remember your name
So you really moving to Ghana. Awesome. Definitely more affordable to live comfortably over there. Congratulations!
At this point I’m moving to Ghana too because I could get a bigger house for the same price

This unit is beautiful so far!! I would buy this if I had money but I'm still young
Wow... My best friend, Nice video... Beautiful place Enjoy watching this video... Have a nice day.
I feel like location is everything. No matter how luxurious the place is, I wouldn't spend that amount for that location. I know that not everywhere in clarendon is bad... but it has a bad rep with crime.
I would never mess with Clarendon too afraid honestly then fi go spend so much money
Actually, the glenmiur area has always been an upscale neighborhood in Clarendon, with nice houses and violent free. The entire Jamaica is a scary place to live. It's not like one region is immune to violence and others aren't.
I love you guys. I have been looking for videos like this. It’s very informative to people like me who have been living abroad for so long and would like to return home. You guys show us how Jamaica is now and what to expect. I appreciate it very much.
This is a basic house, not luxury. The living room is so tiny, how is this house 1,700 square feet?
@@littasista I am a Jamaican living in Jamaica and trust me this is not luxury for Jamaica. Such a pity the media often times doesn’t show the beautiful side of Jamaica.
These are more like what I'd expect: more spacious - square footage and acreage. Now I'm interested. I like the designs. Not too cookie cutter like the majority of the other communities. Thanks guys.
Yes. I totally agree with you. I’m loving these spacious ones. I would purchase now.
Well they wouldn't be like the others the others are going for 15 million. An extra 15 million would get you something really nice
Yes now we’re talking this is a beautiful home and I am from Clarendon I love how bright it his
Carmen T you are so right the is an american system they bringing to Jamaica little by little you spend so much money and can't put on extra room nonsense nuff respect and blessings abundantly my sister ♥️♥️♥️♥️

Pass by quite often but didn't knew the extent of the comfort of those houses. They look really nice
The finishes are really of good quality 👌
Why is the living space so small?.
How could we get the fine print for this property
Love ❤️ the #design and #finishings of the 1st bathroom
Especially the walk-in shower
It's amazing how this is developing. I saw that area when it was just concrete walls and people were throwing garbage on the land.

Really nice, thank you for taking the time to get this video to us.
I’m concerned that Jamaica is being stripped of its lush and beautiful nature in order to build these new communities.
stop thinking shallow the population is growing we dont have a choice. the mountains is well preserved so we have to clear somewhere and save somewhere
This is nice. Yay!! House tour is back
Wasnt sure if I missed those details but what is the price range from minimum to highest cost and what is associated with same?
People who don’t know the cost of a block will say it’s overpriced. Do ignore them.
Yep everyone claim they can build better for less but have nothing to show to prove it 🧐
I think I’ll rather buy land and build how I want or buy a fixer up where I can add on
The living room seems really small
Bigup yrself the Delpratt family... wow Dis looking good fr 24m , na lie Jamaica have some beautiful place, jus need some money.. thks again guys
WOW ...... These houses looking 👁👁 Real rich it's a good look 👍😄
You guys should get someone from a home financing department on what options returning jamaicans have when buying a property
That 24 millions 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄 that not luxury homes that looks like basic to me bareface robbery
Exactly let them keep it. The government needs to start regulating the real estate industry. These house prices are out of control kmt
@@tanyaleepaul4933 out of the hands of the small salary man. Smh🤔
I like these houses, they are better than the average new york house.
Maybe in NYC! Outside the city most newer homes are over 2000 square feet! These homes are well built though!
Thanks for sharing your video. I'm sure a lot of people who maybe considering relocating back to J.A will appreciate it. I was really surprised when the lady said that the stove and fridge wouldn't be included,🤔for that price you really should be getting more! Anyway it's a great concept for the people to have thier own community.

What is the monthly common use fees to live in this community?
Good morning from jama I love the butiful homes I am from trinidad I like very much
The ones without garage, can we put a garage
i Delpratt famil,y as a new subscriber i want to thank you for a well put together vlog, i have seen a couple of your videos its great to see a young family living together in unity and love. i have not been to jamaica in a long while what would u say cost-of-living is like today in JA.
This was so useful to see Thanku ❤️🤗✊🏾🎓
Good question about the grill them...how much is the HOA? Does it include 24/7 security all around the perimeter?
Good question if it's one guy at the gate they can overwhelm him. Hope they install security cameras at least. The perimeter walls aren't that high.
That's not freedom. If you have to watch your back and worry about security. You should be able to be contented in your house and have peace of mind
Are the houses fitting with impact and sound proof windows?
Are the houses graded to be hurricane and earthquake resistance?
And what's the drainage like ?
It would be good to see the engineering drawings for the area to see the infrastructure.
Not sure development plans would be approved without the comminity not being able to withstand natural disasters
How much fe the house i an press for time I am coming, home and have no, house hurry just need the price and the realator.
Please tell come to St Ann next I the design of the 3 bdrms

Good to you and thank you! At the start, the realtor mentioned the different price points.
This is a beautiful property.
Wow am connected with this place
It's a really beautiful property! May Pen is stepping up.
The Glenmiur community community appears to be a nice quiet one. And thus community definitely adds value to the surroundings

I hope that was not a power wire draped across the front of the house like that. Very bad things can happen.

Would be nice if electrical wires were underground...front steps could reduce accessibility....too high for a main entrance...
It’s called a semi detached, and lights in the ceiling are called pot lights
This looks so good. I would buy it na lie
Wait a minute didn't I subscribe to your channel already y man a dweet. Again I like it when u own a home in a gated community with your own land space u can grow your stuff an put up a one clothes line an ting uh zeet
they are fully taking the pisss lool the cost to build this in jamaica is less than £70000 but you want pple to pay 30m lol people this a basic house don't make them trick you 🤣
Baseboards? why dont these homes have baseboards the finish look incomplete...
Boy one thing I don't like about most Jamaican homes. The Dark finish on the cupboards n furniture. Best part of this house for me tho is the tile n shower enclosure
This is where im from. Big up....
What happen to cricket ground there
Very small closets. We like our big walk-in California closets here in the States.

What the cost for those houses ?
What's the price ranges?
Is there any HOA to these property.
Beautiful bathroom
When mi see clarendon. I clicked so fast. Cause am contemplating on where I'd wanna get my house but I've lived here all my life. But dis nice badddddd
The prrices are making me dizzy lol...but overall its a good look...garage and grill for me is a must!.thanks for the tour guy!
I agree, it's too expensive. Plus if you notice they conveniently left out the monthly fees you'd have to pay for security, common access, etc we don't know what that is. Plus we don't know if it is condo or freehold ownership. The former is another monthly fees again. Liked the video tour but the right questions to be asked just wasn't asked unfortunately.
I’m not Jamaican but this is a good insightful video
Where is the drainage arae to channel the rain water? We see road but no drainage
This is the first video I have watched of house viewing and love the finished product.
I’m sorry!! I don’t want a house I can’t re-model. There are new technologies that allows a house to have futures inside and out which means over many years you will want to change your roof your yard layout and design to match the times. What about a growing family who may want a bigger room are living space to accommodate more children if your that type of family ?? These house’s are for single and retired people not a growing family who are professionals
Why are homes in Jamaica so small in these gated communities?
what do we think 30 million is, a lot of money? 30 million Jamaican dollars is just 150 thousand Britsh Pound and about 200 thousand American dollars: these houses are basic in quality and definitely worth the money but if they were of luxury in quality with the size that they are currently, they would have been much more expensive and rightfully so! These houses represents the best quality for value for 30 million as compared to many other flimsy and poorly built houses I have seen in Jamaica right now:
30mil is a lot of money in this country because the of the monthly cost to pay loan and other bills...it is expensive.
Beautiful home in ckarendon
This is beautiful

Can't believe you guys are saying this location is close to Kingston. The place is nice though.
Distance is all relative but isnt 40 mins via highway not close though? The community is right at the start of the highway. U drive for about 20-30 mins to finish at Mandela Highway then you're there!
@@TheDelprattFamily Yeah, you are right about location being relative. I remember when the New Harbour Housing Development was being marketed, I think at the time they where saying 20-30 minutes on the highway. However that has not been the reality for most. Traffic to and off the highway has doubled that time. Not to mention those persons that don't use the highway but then again this development is not for the average Joe.
@@dianamcpherson2173 yes that timing is without traffic build up. How many days will you be lucky enough to experience this, or how early will you have to wake or how late you will have to leave work?

The answer is simple, haters!
@@gregoryreid3219 many people don't work for their money. They have been involved in witchcraft, voodoo, obeah, blackmagic, etc. that's the source of their income. Many of them are Jamaicans who live overseas.
