You are definitely right sir!! Kai Sotto is NBA ready now!! You are also right that if he is given ample playing time, he can definitely contribute!! Thanks for this video. God willing!!
Kai is too slow for the NBA. I love him to get in the NBA but he ain't LBJ son. Kai could score 1 pt if it was LBJs son, and he can get in the league easily! But in honesty, Kai is not ready!
Thank you for your good words for kai sotto!❤ Filpino love him not just because he's good but also a respectful person.he love his supporters and his country!
There are many nba players in the nba who just sit and don't play but kai sotto is still good.. 100% kai can keep up with nba players for real.. go king Kai 💪👑💪💯🇵🇭
Appreciate this vid for featuring Kai Sotto, not in a hyped manner but simply featuring his natural capability (but with a lot of room for improvement) as a future (hoping it’ll be sooner) NBA prospect. 👍 🇵🇭❤️🏀
Definitely yes.. he has improved a lot and getting better and better each day with his game and physical built...consistently played double double a game... Not only that he has a good character and easy to adjust inside or outside the court... Peace

Kai has the basketball skills and continues to improve his game because of longer time exposure on the floor he is recently getting from Yokohama. He can be a threat inside and out because of his good shooting skills. He is also a high percentage shooter at the free throw line. He is a huge defensive threat. He hired a strength conditioning coach to add more muscles and to gain more weight to be more competent - more on the post. Kai has high basketball IQ, a team player, a willing passer and still very young at 21. He's a victim of 3 coaches who expected too much from him but not willing to help him and didn't gave him ample minutes to play to further develop his game. The bad experiences from these 3 coaches occurred and wasted over the span of 3 years until landing in Yokohama in December 28, 2023. This is less than 4 months ago and you can see the big improvements in Kai's game in a very short time. This also tells us the strong mindset Kai possess... Kai's mindset is key and I will put high premium if I am a hiring team... Basketball is a continuous and a never ending learning process, but at the same time, I strongly believe Kai is now ready for the NBA... Kai has shown early maturity and has hold himself well as shown by the improvements on his games in a very short time despite those challenges he had faced at a very young age. Will Wemby do better than Kai if faced the same challenges as Kai at a vey young age? Your guess is as good as mine...
I have to disagree with this analysis. Kai is not a great shooter. He will make an occasional mid range and three pointer, but his numbers do not back that up. He is limited to shots around the basket and his subpar post game. This only works in the B-League because he is so much bigger than other players. Do you really think that will translate against more skilled and competitive players? Look at how he handle FIBA and NBL games. He has grown more comfortable with playing in the B-League, but that hurts his case more than it helps. Playing in a league that is not competitive is not going get him exposure and development. There's a reason why Yuta Watanabe and Rui Hachimura chose to play NCAA basketball, there was no competition for them in Japan or Asia. To say that he is NBA ready is far fetch. The best B-League or KBL teams would struggle to compete against mid major D1 NCAA colleges. There are ex D1 and G-League players playing in these leagues and are putting great numbers. Does Kai deserve an NBA spot over those guys considering he isn't even as talented as they are?
@@oddmanox1 in G league he got 13 or 14 points. he is the 1st 7 footer that made a 3 points in nbl. he scored above 10 with limited times. why you try to shoot outside if you can play inside effectively…
That should not and will not happen. Kai doesn't have the physique and stamina that is for the NBA. While GSW already has a Kuminga who couldn't afford to play along with Kai. Kai should stay in Asia, Oceania, or Europe for now.

Eventually, he will play in the NBA and his only 22yrs old, he's not in his prime time. Once he put on some weight, and muscle he will be a monster to reckon with. 💪👍
If kai ever play for Warriors he'll learn so much and that is he have the tenacity to be a good player and never give up, NBA is no joke, it's far from PBA.
Kai is now 7'3" and 246.04 pounds, turning 22 years old this May 11, 2002. That is the real reason for his improvement. He cannot easily be pushed around anymore. When he was 19 yrs. old he went to the USA to train, he was 7'1" and 218 pounds. He joined the G league. The pandemic hit all nations and Sotto went back to the Philippines. After the pandemic, he joined Australia's NBL, was already 7'2" nearing 7'3", and was 225 pounds. After NBL, he played for Gilas Phil. team for the FIBA World Cup where they beat the giants of China. He later joined the Japan B League and he is now 7'3", and 235 pounds, he currently weighs 246.04 pounds thanks to his strength & conditioning coach Mel Lantin who is always with him..... So now, let us compare his statistics to NBA big guys. Antetokounmpu is 6'9" and 242 pounds, 29 yrs old. Victor Wembanyana is 7'4" , 209 pounds, 20 yrs. old. Chet Holmgren is 7'1" 207 pounds, 22 yrs old; Nicola Jokic is 6'9" or 6'10" and 283.8 pounds, 29 yrs. old. Therefore, as Kai grows older and meets his target weight of 270 pounds BMI of 22, and borderline weight before obesity, he will be a powerhouse. His father Irvin Sotto is a retired basketball player, 6'7", and weighs almost 300 pounds due to inactivity, there is no doubt Kai will be a powerhouse soon. The team that will draft Kai will be an advantage for them.
he's not going to the warriors. It's propaganda exposure of his diehard filo fans trying to get the attention of media. Kai is like b league level... he doesn't have the stats. they're mid.
He needs to be aggressive and demand the ball both in the low and high post where he can either shoot, drive or dribble hand off. If he can develop his feel for the game, he can be a taller draymond.
We are always praying for KAI’s Journey
