This road brings back so many memories. I was lucky to drive from Barcelona to Madrid this year, i couldnt stop smiling during the entire journey hahaha.
The whole Autovia between Zaragoza and Madrid is a very nice drive through the interior of the Iberian Peninsula, enjoyed this part a lot, maybe you can share also the continuation to Madrid. Thanks a lot, greetings from Germany!
One of my favorite motorways in Spain. There are many interesting stretches between Madrid and Zaragoza, many elevation changes and very few population density. If I recall correctly, between La Muela and Guadalajara, about 230 km apart, there are only two towns with more than 1,500 inhabitants - La Almunia (7,819) and Calatayud (20,023). Love your videos, I hope you show more of A-2 soon!
I live in Zgz and know this highway until the construction. The route had undergo severed changes, the space between 1:19 and 1:30 is very dangerous, especially with rain, and numerous accidents , I witness in three occasions, with casualties even killed principally over direction to Zgz
There are many Roman ruins, like amphitheaters and the aquaducts. Mostly in historic cities. On this trip I've seen the aquaducts of Segovia and Tarragona, as well as the amphitheater of Tarragona.
Spain strikes me as a country with a lot of what in Belgium they call "grands travaux inutiles". Motorways that are practically empty, the second-longest high-speed rail network despite having a GDP per capita between Slovenia and Estonia, and in this case, a whole lot of wind turbines of which exactly one is turning.
@@hermericojimenez2616 Come to think of it, I don't remember ever seeing a "European Roads" video of driving through Belgium. You may have a point here.
@@d.roscoe2458 About Spain or Belgium? I live in a European country with a higher GDP per capita than Spain, but as pointed out before, that's not that difficult.

Yes I do have more videos of A-2 coming. This motorway is quite a scenic ride.
U are wrong, there are more than la Almunia and Calatayud lmao
Fantastisco ;)
The landscape of this area of Spain reminds me of New Mexico.
Nice!
Si j'etais la je serais tout le temps à 220!
