he really did, he was tortured and ostracized for 99% of his life by his father and his own family. He was a product of their failure and he chose to deal with it rather violently which is his own fault but the only reason he got to that conclusion was because they never gave him a chance to feel wanted. Maybe im looking into it to deeply but kai was by far one of the most complex characters who defenitly deserved a redemption.
I FEEL SO SORRY FOR HIM.And I am so angry because evryone gave the second chance to Klaus and Damon but they didn't give it to Kai. HE DESERVED BETTER. HE DESERVED LOVE..And just like any other child he didn't deserved to feel unwanted by his family..I really want to hug Kai but unfortunately he is dead so..I know what it's like to feel unwanted and unloved by your own blood..So I kind of understand him too..
Kai is NOT a monster at all! He is just child who want to stay alive because his family decide to kill Kai because Kai’s siphoner powers. They thought he is abomination. Kai had never felt any of love or friendship just because of he was a little bit different then others. Kai is NOT a monster at all and newer was! Yes, he maybe have some problems with his anger because he never felt anything different (say “thanks” to Kai’s family) but he is just TRYING TO STAY ALIVE AND SAFE, nothing more! The only reason Kai wasn’t killed by his family is if something happens with Luke or Liv, so then they wouldn’t have another choice. So yes, I’m understanding that Kai had done everything to alive. And yes, wedding and Elena’s sleeping spell are also logical after what Bonnie done with him despite the fact Kai was trying to change him. Of course he decided to have a revenge. Kai is a person with his own feelings too. You're obviously right about Kai's family's fault but he WAS a monster. I mean, yes, he is a product of his family's contempt and he deserved better, he deserved love... But not after all he did in TVD. Klaus, Damon, Stefan, all the others have done a lot more violence but they felt regret (even when they didn't show that) an Kai... he actually «turned off» his conscience, he decided to become a sociopath (also he wasn't psychopath because he realized all his actions and all harm that he did to others - he admitted it) so... I think, he deserved better treatment from his family and coven but he didn't deserved a "second chance" after what he had done as he just didn't want to get it! He likes being sociopath, he sincerely enjoys other people's suffering and as he doesn't want to change - nobody can change him. He is a great villain, one of the greatest characters in TVD and I guess, if the authors decided to give him a second chance he wouldn't be so interesting character, he'd be just like dozens of others
@@livelikephoebebuffay494 He regret dude, but Bonnie ruined it. And I dont think Damon regret the bad things he did so as Klaus. Damon killed a lot of innocent and he did not regret about it. Klaus' kiled a lot of werewolves just to try to create hybrids and did not regret that (he wasn't even sorry for killing Jenna).
