Hi, Johnny, if you are still interested in doing a video of package knots, I have a little update. I saw when I was young doing this knots but just before the last one, two or three bows were passed around the crossed lines to form a useful handle in the midle. It would be interesting also to know how to tie a round shape package. Thanks to you two for your good tutorials.
I find the crossing knot is easier to tie if you push the bight under the cord and then thread the working end through just the bight. Much less fiddly.
make video on how to make two or three horizontal lines...u have shown only one middle line where there is loop... Rest ur videos are very good...work is appreciated
Can't tell you how awesome you are. Your videos are detailed and very instructive. Thank you much.
So much better that the others I found online! THANK YOU !!!
Like the pace of your instructions, nice and slow. Good video, thanks.
Thank you very much for sharing.without knowing the procedure we are tying the packages.now I came to know the procedure.
Excellent, Mark. Anything that can securely hold the box without it loosening and slipping off will do. Thanks.
Thank you. This is a big help 😊.
Great video, thank you so much
TQ very much. Much needed skill for ordinary guy like me !

Safer to start with "Canadian jam". The crossing knot is called "Shopkeeper's knot".
Is it safe to carry the handle of the longer heavier package? Thank you. 20/1/2022.
Thank you. Nicely done.

Stop saying this on every knot video. It's not fiddly.

Any reason that the initial loop couldn’t be created using a figure-of-eight on the bight; i.e. instead of a bowline etc?
Thank you
I'm having trouble with starting with a loop.
Would this be sufficient on a bigger box?
Yes.
nice
