okay, so they got 2 fusion bugs, 2 people share a half of one bug in order to fuse, meaning we might have 2 fused characters. In that case, I'd love to see Piccolo do the fusion, maybe Piccolo and Glorio or Supreme Kai. Anyway, we will see.

I am really loving the world building in daima right now, seeing goku in action with the power pole is awesome and i do agree with goku needing to fuse with vegeta but also wouldn't mind if he fuse with someone else too

Until otherwise shown or stated, we can be sure that it'll be different because the method of fusion is different. With the dance, it makes Gogeta. With the earrings, it makes Vegito. Who knows what will come out of those magic beans.
As someone who have read the entire oriignal manga from scratch and so forth.
I don't think this is metamor fusion nor potara fusion. Why is that?
1. Potara requires two Potara earings from kaioshin. (Mind you, he is a literal god and those earings are item of the gods.)
2. Metamor Fusion requires the....DANCE ITSELF. If you watch DBS Broly movie. (Spoilers: It is the first time they perform metamor fusion and that took multiple tries.) To top it off, that fusion is the fusion of the metamorans.
Just like with Potara as well as Metamor, the two fusions gives them a unique clothing. Potara seems to be combining clothes. Metamor presumably gives the fusion in question, those baggy aladeen-ish pants and whatever yellow vest.
So this is likely a new fusion. However michael! If you look CLOSELY at the signboard where the old lady talks about the "join bug" aka the fusion bugs, it shows 3 people and then in the same sign, showing a big bulky person. This implies that mayyyyybe this fusion may allow 3 people to merge and become into a new being.
So what the hell will they be called? No idea. If we assume the fusion is only of two people, Vegeta and Goku...
Vegetto is taken.
Gogeta is taken.
Veku is already taken.
It would be funny if they went with the "Gogetto" or "Gogito" name. However i wouldn't know, i am not toriyama.
If we assume it's 3 people. Then we could see Piccolo + Goku + Vegeta merging into a new warrior. However. What the hell will their name be? What about their clothes? Will it actually have a unique clothing style tailored to demon realm's theme or will it be a combination of all the clothes like Vegetto?
FYI: Vegetto's name is taken from Kakarotto + Vegeta. (Kakarotto is technically also Goku's proper english name spelling and not Kakarot.)
Either ways. If piccolo, goku and vegeta fuses. I wonder if they'll become green colored + have namekian antennas while still maintaining a saiyan hair.

Damn Im hyped, I gotta keep reminding myself this is Post Buu Saga so Goku n Vegeta dont have anything from DB Super but maybe we could still get SSJ3? SSJ2 Fusion? Im hoping if its Goku n Vegeta and its not new that its Vegito, Nothing against Gogeta but weve gotten a lot of Kid Gogeta type moments from course Gotenks, So if its them as kids Im hoping if not new fusion that its a Kid Vegito, But throw any other character in the mix for 3 way Fusion it outta be interesting regardless!!
