Movavi screen recorder and video edting tool 2023 goes through all the steps to record the screen with the screen recorder and then bring the recorder into the editing suite so that you can edit the video. This is the latest 2023 version of Movavi but is also relevant to previous editions.

A complete step by step video on using Movavi screen recorder and editor. I will take you throught the following; how to record set of PowerPoint slides, how to edit them in Movavi editor, how to add intro, outro and music, we will find out about some new features, then how to augment the video and put it all onto UA-cam.
The process of recording in Movavi is very similar to the tool that I am currently using there isnt that much difference that is why this is a great technology for UA-cam videos creation. Recording a slide show, adding the cursor, using the webcam, adding more screen casts are options that I will talk about in this video.
Thanks for a clear explanation. I've just upgraded to Movavi academic 2023 and I'm very pleased with the new features. I use Movavi exclusively to record PowerPoint presentations for my UA-cam channel, and it is ideal for this. I would definitely recommend Russell's course if you want to master this very useful video software.
I only use screen recorders that you just click on the record button that's it.

Where do I find the video size slider for my web camera when using the screen recorder? I only see the options for resolution, frame rate, webcame shape, and "show webcam preview during recording." But I Googled it and apparently their should be a video size slider to make it bigger.

Yes, you can use your iPhone as a microphone for your computer, or you can purchase a separate one if you prefer.

Hi Russell, I can do everything you say, until I start recording. I don´t see my face. only the screen. When Im done, I get a message saying that the file is corrupted. Any idea of what this could be?

In older versions of the Screen Recorder I was able to open the program and the last area of the screen I wanted to record would automatically open. With the newer version, when I open the program I have to set the capture area each time. Is there a way to set the screen recorder to open with the previous dimensions/area of the screen to record or do I have to reset it every time I open the Movavi Screen Recorder?
This is a great question. I am going to look into this and if I find the answer, I will let you know. It is probably in the settings on the screen recorder options.
I'm trying to record the audio coming from the PC. I'm using a audio interface(focusrite Clarett). I tried switching to the main mic on the pc and it still won't record the audio from my pc. Can anyone help?
Make sure to check your recording settings in Movavi and ensure that the audio interface is selected as the default recording device in your computer's sound settings to capture audio from your PC successfully.
Howdy. I am trying to figure a way to steam my screen. I would like to show my friend my coding lessons as I do them in real time. Can you please at least point me in a direction or what to even search to find an answer. All I am finding is how to screen share to a tv etc thx

Hey there! If your microphone is muted in Movavi, here's what you can do to unmute it:
In Movavi, locate the audio settings or microphone icon, typically found in the toolbar or menu.
Click on the microphone icon or navigate to the audio settings.
Look for the mute/unmute option and click on it to unmute your microphone.
You should see a visual indication or change in the icon to confirm that your microphone is now unmuted.

Hello, I bought Moavi Screenrecording. I can't get system-audio recorded. I can only select MacBook Pro Microphone in the program and not the Moavi Sound Grabber which is installed and viewable in the System Preferences. Very frustrating...
I don't know if Movavi records system sound. I had never thought about this. I am going to contact Movavi to find out. I looked and couldn't find the option.

Russell, thanks for your didactic video. There is something that intrigues me in the webcam settings, because there is the option to record a rectangular or round image, but even choosing round the software films rectangular. Could you explain how I could record my webcam image in a round shape, as stated in the settings? And why even selected does not work? Am I doing something wrong without knowing it? I would be very grateful if you can help me.
Mario, I have always wondered that. It might be that the MAC version allows a circle but not the PC version. I don't know the answer but next time I speak to MOVAVI, I will ask them.
Russell thanks for all the great videos but this time I must say I was dissapointed by the software. I didn't like it but I cant get it unistalled... I am not sure why...
