I have seen bands deteriorate at live performances. But Avenged Sevenfold is the complete opposite. I had once seen them live in 2007. I admit they were shitty back then. But now. Oh my God.... That is quite a transformation.

The strange thing about them in my opinion is that they are heavily influenced by bands from the past that used dual lead guitars. Very remenicent of Iron Maiden, yet with an updated modality. There are a few bands out there that are keeping good hard rock, metal alive and well, 7x being one of course and then I'd have to say FFDP also. I would love to see them together on tour. That would be awesome.
