I saw you had asked for a Dark CaptainSwan video and I had never done one before but I reheard this song a few weeks ago and I guess you could say inspiration struck!

Love this! I think they totally missed an opportunity with this season. Emma was too good even as the dark one. I wanted to see some badass inner turmoil (the stuff they had could've been so much darker) and the two of them would've been awesome as an evil power couple! Great job!!
see I actually think it was a really powerful message that even with all that darkness coursing through her her goodness still won out. that's how powerful the savior is. and in fairytales good always vanquishes evil, even if it's a battle within.
Aphrodite. I totally get that. I feel that the acting during this season could've been a bit better, that's all. :) Emma's weird raspy voice was a bit corny for me. I almost wish we could've seen a shift between her dark side and savior sides (like how Rumplestilskin has his creepy laugh then he's "normal" again. haha) To see that shift in a more fluid way would've been awesome. I really really didn't like the raspy weird voice haha
I disagree with you there. This was by no means my favorite arc. I much prefer Savior Emma and Hero Hook but JMo's acting really impressed me this season. Colin's too. I remember thinking something was off with Killian in Storybrooke all season but it was so subtle that I convinced myself I was imagining it. Then they revealed he was also a dark one and my mind was blown. I mean he was just that good.
I really wish season 5 was hook and Emma teaming up and being there darkest selfs not being mad at each other it would make season 5 that much better
That’s why season 5 is one of my least fav seasons. I’m a huge captainswan shopper and arson 5 just makes me sad 😢
This was an absolutely amazing tribute for My Favorite Couple in Once Upon a Time as Dark Ones. I wish Dark Swan and Dark Hook could’ve teamed up and been The Dark One Power Couple.

Dark Swan was weird, Dark Hook, whew. That was something 🥵 I wanted them to be some badass evil couple tho but i hated how Emma looked and acted it was like she was on drugs the whole time 😂 I like Dark One Emma at the start, before she was actually all dark oneey. It was the white hair that was just. No.

I admit I liked the idea of Darkswan better than the actual thing myself. but I don't think it had so much to do with the execution as it did with how Emma's inherent hero-ness is one of the things that I loved most about her and made her admire her so much so seeing her without it (or seemingly without it) for a few episodes was not my favorite thing. though I do love that by the end of the arc, her hero-ness still won out...even with the greatest darkness inside her. I think that sends such a powerful message about who she is.

I actually have been catching season 5a at work (haha I am such a nut for OUAT) I have control of the main TV we have on display, what's on it. I have to agree with the causing great pain but gosh was Hook so terribly fun and cheeky to watch as a dark one, especially his impersonation of Rumple

I adore the Dark ones Hook & Swan
But your powerful examination of the Dark ones, & the fact that the Faerytale Characters created, was a Dark one it's self is Beautiful, as Emma & Killian are.
Most revel in Darkness only frustrated to remain trapped within it. But, Emma & Hook, are different.
They been thru the dark, they know what it is too be alone, & suffering within themselves. The darkness needs balance, just as much as the light. No Villain is measured by the good within, as much as the light that can also blind, & consume absolute.
We all fight our demon's & try to keep our better natureed, selves satisfied but when we dare care about others, see that they're pain does nothing to sate ye.
We come to understand, we come to want to change up the map, & write a better out come. Destiny taunts self judgement, & reflects only what we will it to.
There fore the first dark one wasn't Nimue, as we know.
So her love of Merlin was the love that had to be crushed. By shockingly Killian. Emma's plan could have worked had she had more time to work on it.
But Zelina always about herself wants, & needs above everyone else's. Was Emma's mistake.
Emma Realized too late, she could never Completely save Killian, he was already dead, she selfishly, kept a ruse playing on, keeping up the misleads, till Zelina Set the darkness in him free again. It could only be a Chaotic mess.
His pretense to fool himself he was never good enough for Emma, or anyone. He tried to be a hero, it didn't take, maybe because he was never meant to be one. His accurate assessment on Hero's, was they can become so self appointed, they're goals to save everyone, tho Noble, can become a burden, & can also mislead. Living a life in the Gray, the balances shift, no one is truly good & of the light, & no one is completely dark, till they are driven to that lable.
It's not the dark or the light we face, but what we do with our actions.
The decision for Killian to make up for the evil he had done, was to sacrifice himself for those he grew to care about, tho reluctant to break the enticement, as always the dark finally gave him, the right to play around with satisfying, & bathing in a sweet manipulative, & mischief making a danse of it.
Emma, was trying to fool the dark to work on her behalf, endlessly she tried to fool her love, & everyone else, that all was as it should be, it was how she wanted to be¿
But as the trust was never quite there, Emma was alone, she cast a selfish ruse over all, & her now dead lover, & best companion, she hurt him the most, because she couldn't face the truth, or love him enough, to let him go, with a clear conscience. when he knew, the consequences of her Selfish actions, to him. but couldn't control Emma's decisions.
He ended up paying the Reaper for her price...
Emma clear minded again, could only regret, what she had done. & When she found out Rumple stole her loves Noble sacrifice, she made him summon the ferry man Charron to go on the strangest family outing,
to the depths of the under world, to avenge Killian, & rescue him from a fate he didn't deserve. Is gut crunching, Emma gains a warning from Balefire, told her, you intend on rescuing Hook, but things won't turn out the way you expect them too.
As usual, Emma ignores the signs, & she goes forth ever hoping to save her love. Only giving conntriband Hope to the Kingdom of Hades.
& Making the god upset, & making him take it out on Killian, his latest prisoner. But Killian had resolve, & his loyalty to good form, he told Hades off. Didn't care what the ruthless beast would do to him.
The anti hero in Killian made it impossible for him to succumb, like others, to Hades demands. He remained Killian Jones Hook, no matter what the King of the under world wished, he didn't fall to Pans evil whims, why Hades?¿
Eventually Emma has come to rescue her Love, & try an make him whole again.
But in the end after finding out something Captain Swan Shippers knew, from the beginning, they were saved by true love, like Snow & Charming. Altho it wouldn't be enough, to rescue Killian from his fate. & He made his good byes unable to follow his love back to the world above. We got more time then we were ever meant to...
Emma reluctantly, said her goodbyes
Kissed him, & tried desperate to hold on to his good hand, forever, as she was tearfully, left to release him, Killian also didn't let her go.
For fear, he would be back in the lonely dark, till he could help her, & his friends defeat the real evil, they now faced above. With devastating consequences, for them all. Yet even Zeus knew Killian & Emma were meant to be together, Zeus had shipped Captain Swan ⚓💗 before anyone else

Much to poor Regina's broken heart, after losing Robin Hood, she was full of vengeance again torwards the Pretty blonde Saviour, & definitely wanted to make her suffer by hurting her darling loving Pirate bff.
Because he was saved, & Her love, Robin Hood was erased before her eyes, & everything she had with him was like it never was.
Not Killian's fault, he never expected to be back, & Emma was only grieving for him. But still wounds are fresh, & no one can blame Regina for feeling like a Villain who isn't able to over come circumstances of the darkness from the past, when the recent events seek to only take her love away unfairly from her.
Time to split one half of herself, & kill the Villainous side of her, the past evil she had been cursed with.
But in doing so, Regina the evil Queen half, is now exposed, & feels un justifyied by her very own self.
Un expectedly like Hyde did with his evil self Dr. Jerkle.
But the evil Queen un vanquished, comes back to Story Brooke to haunt ol VENGEFUL notions. Un féttered by her other anti hero self Evil Queen Regina decides to cause more problems, for thé Hero's she & her sister can't stand, or ever wish to understand. Hero's:
Sappy good deeds, & infectious, self satisfied joker grins. Zelina:
"Ugh, I can't stand it, & I'm wicked."
👑🍎:"Of course, monologuing, in the center of the square, in Towne, was so inspired, seriously? We can't do better , then that, self boasting?"
Zelina:" Well, who's the one who can't let Snow White, & her Prince Charming, be left or forgotten, because I know it isn't in us to forgive."
EQ👑🍎:" Really, I remember King Authur, had you doing his dirty work, & he never even had a clue, or a real Kingdom, or a good written monologue?"
Zelina:" It kept me from being trapped with the Hero's, for a little while. Besides, can you top being with a Godd, like Hades?!"
EQ👑🍎:" Ohh, that was a good cock up, on your part, sister."
Zelina:" Yes, & I paid it."
EQ👑🍎:" You what?"
Zelina:" Fine, we both have, only thought about, our losses."
EQ.👑🍎:" Yes, we have, & too many.
Come let's create a palace, we can punish the Hero's another time. Right now we need to take care of us."
Zelina:" NO, I don't want to live in a castle, Regina, I'm not you. Sure being Queen may have it's advantages, perks, I just find it all so tiresome. I just want to be happy with my baby girl, here, or back in OZ, where I felt at home. & Now that Robin Hood is gone, I am my daughter's parent, her mommy.

Zelina:" Yes, time to let our Evil, & wicked plots, & schems, abate."
