actually, no. nasa kontrata nila yan as guest singer na si regine na mas malakas talaga mic niya. it's all business. kasi mas established si regine syempre she gets to decide especially because she's the guest singer. i've worked with commercial singers all my life and ganyan talaga ang terms sa contract ni ms. regine velasquez. she gets the louder and more resonant microphone, apart from the other things that her team demands when she's invited to sing.

I even think she's better than Regine Velasquez but watching this now, Mori has such a long way to go. Masyado kong inunderestimate si Ms Regine. MackyOzzy I love Ms. Reg, but it is still a duet, they need to blend, considering na mag ka timbre sila ng voice at some parts eto nga lang na mahina volume ng voice ni mori medyo maingay na sa tenga anu pa kayat nilakasan nya, and thats why I love Morissette She has a great command of the volume of her voice, that although shes hitting so high it is still pleasing to ears. my two loves 😍
Madyado po talagang inunderestimate mo haahha, Regine has the best vocal dynamics to date, wala nga lang syang whistle.. vocal power pa lang ni Regine, mahirap pantayan, she might lose her skyrocketing notes since it's part of aging, but take note she still has it at this time.. Regine is unpredictable now because of her AR, akala natin di na niya kaya, pero sa ibang performances kaya pa pala.. She's just aging lang talaga, madaming pahinga na kailangan.. Her vigor is not the same before but the voice is still there pag WALA si ACID REFLUX. Still the voice ot beat in terms of preservation. Longevity ang labanan ngayon.
Mori is no match to Regine when she was of the same age. Since Regine, no one has ever won an international competition and created an impact. HK Singing Competition was really big during our time in the 80s. Mga international artist ang mga sumasali doon.

But Ms. Reg's legacy will keep shining as the years go by. I'm one of the many fans of the Songbird. So stop the comparisons between them and Mori, Jona, Sarah G (well Sarah doesn't belt that much these days tho but I've seen many comparisons din sa kanya), and whoever great talent that we have because definitely nobody can beat her when the Songbird is on her younger caliber. But time flies, people age, and voices do fade. It's the youngster's turn na, it's Mori's turn na.
PS. Sana i-revive nila ang Akin Ka Na Lang. Yung magduduet sila because it puts more soul to the song. It was soulful sa solo pa lang ni Mori, what more pag magduduet sila ni Ms. Reg. So much love for them.
