I've just watched your vid Jay and it's looking good. It was a great day all told. It was our first time out there in our NC1 and I'm happy to observe that my gear changes match yours on each turn so I'm now figuring we must have been doing something right after all haha. We kept it on the grey stuff all day and out of the gravel traps !!
I have some footage of Rodders bombing past us into Craner Curves then doing a good 720 on/off the grass and back on the tarmac. I'll edit it and send it along to him at some stage in the near future.
If car was feeling understeery, i assume you really mean stiffen the rear dampers? Softening them will give you more rear grip and even more understeer.
Hi Jay thanks for all your track day uploads. I’m close to pressing the BBR button on a completely standard 2013 NC engine, breaks and suspension. I can’t find many reviews on the 225 and want to make sure it’s worth the extra cost over the 200. Or do I go all out with the stage 1. Would it be possible at a time that suits you to have a quick chat. Looking at your track day videos your car looks sorted but I’m only going to do this upgrade once and want to try get it right first time. Many thanks
Hey Ian, no worries at all! Completely get the predicament you're in at the moment, I was in the same boat for a few months deciding between the 200, 225 or Supercharger - each has their pros and cons. Happy to have a chat anytime, ping me an email - jayson@jaysonfong.com and we'll sort out a time!
Be interesting to see which way you go with the tuning, keep playing these videos to get a feel of how that car drives with the 225 mod! Is it me or does it have an auto blipper mapped in for the downshifts?
@@MrBarnshaw will keep you updated. I’m in the fortunate position that cost is not an factor in my decision. This is a long term keeper and project car, not my daily. It will be used for those perfect selfish days when time and the weather is aligned. And for a few track days so I know what the cars roll is just need to work out the best solution.
Stripped out ND race car - he was able to carry a lot more corner speed on sticky tyres, so I had a lot of catching up to try and do with my AD08RS The intention for my build was to have a road car that would be capable of keeping up with a mid-grid NC race car - With the right tyres I think it'd be pretty close...!
@@fongy8000 Thanks for answer. I very like your bbr 225 setup. I had turboes NB (about 265hp), but now would like to stay N.A. to about 190-200 hp with ND :))
I love your notes in the video description. Enjoy the NC!
Thanks! I find it useful to look back on, hopefully useful for others too!
Love watching your Super smooth steering inputs mate. You’ve got the car exactly where you want it, great to watch.

@@reggieroar1 please upload it - it was me he was chasing in the silver NC with the black duck tail!

Great driving & amazing sound 😎

@@MrBarnshaw no auto blip for this car, just some good 'ol heel and toe!

hey is Paul's ND modded? I'll be doing the 225 but even in straights you weren't able to catch up to his ND. Is it because you have a passenger?

@@dusanskulavik1878 Good question - would've thought it was a 160 + induction/manifold, but not sure!
