Welcome home to Newport Pagnell - Leah Williamson

Leah Williamson, WSL superstar with Arsenal, Captain of the England women's national team, WSL Champion, FA Women's Cup and League Cup winner, World Cup runner-up, UEFA Women's European Champion, and Newport Pagnell native, came home this week to cut the ribbon at our brand new 3G pitch, named in her honour.
The Football Foundation have funded more than 1,000 artificial pitches across the country, with plans for many more, including one at our home, Willen Road. It was a joy to see Leah chatting with some of our youth team and Women's players, and who knows, maybe one or many of them can follow in her foot steps one day.
