I went to summer camp in Mancos, Colorado in the early 1970's. Mancos is in between Grand Junction and Durango, Colorado. The highlight was always a trip on this railroad! I remember how dirty we would get from riding in the open cars at the end of the train. I don't know if they were burning charcoal or coal, at the time I didn't know the difference. But looking back it must've been charcoal, as coal would've been really dirty and an ecologically filthy.

Yeah I wouldn't know the difference either on which one it was running this day. It was smoky I can tell you that much!

Cody, they left you behind at the waterfall! How did you get back? Did they have one of the cars like from the silent movies where you push and pull the lever up and down to make it go? 🤣🤣

Thanks for including some of the history. Pleasing to watch. My only small criticism is the sound of the train would have been better than the music when you were finished narrating. Thanks for sharing your work.
