The yandere prince wanted to ask for her hand in marriage, but his brother (the Crown Prince that is considered perfect by all and overshadows the YP at everything, the main reason for his confidence issues) got to it first, which drove the YP over the edge and made him kidnap the princess.
Oh how can someone be moved by such words, this is amazing and almost had me in tears. I haven't seen much of this character however he sounds lovely, and has proper reason for wanting someone to love him. He sees what harm he has caused us and is genuine, prove me if I'm wrong but, it seems that he does not want to treat others how he was treated by his parents which makes me personally want to make him happy. Everyone should have the love of a family.
