Hey man you must be proud knowing you can say you once experienced the fastest accelerating roller coaster ever. As of two days ago on the 13th do do-dodonpa officially closed forever. I’m from London and currently stealth takes the top spot for the fastest acceleration at 1.8 overtaking maxx force
It was a terrifying experience but i’m so grateful I overcame my fear and rode it!

So I know this was 2 years ago when you commented, but I just wanted to say this: what is the most insane roller coaster concept your country has made?
Flying Dinosaur has a 540 degree roll into a pretzel loop and an outward facing helix, but Do-dodonpa definitely holds the intense factor, especially with the former top hat stall. 😁👍🏻
This park has some absolutely insane coasters. Can’t wait to come here one day! Another great video friend!

nothing can prepare you for the acceleration of Do-dodonpa. I arrived there and it was cold and wet so i lined up for it first because the line had shelter. Front row by myself. I had no idea until i got to the car that it was the world's fastest accelerating coaster. Holy fuck, it was so insane on the launch i lost my shit. I like to think I'd go on it again but honestly I'm not sure i could get on it again haha
Had no idea Fuji-Q was so accessible by train! That's probably the best on-ride video I've ever seen of Eejanaika, I'd love to see an uninterrupted full POV from that!

First video of Do-Dodonpa I've seen where the train doesn't launch immediately after the countdown. Not very often you hear "DO-DODONPA!" right before you launch. Sick to hear, regardless.

When i went on it last year, it launched a good 5 seconds before the cowntdown started, lets just say i got the fright of my life!
When I rode it on it , it launched before the count down was finished. It was like at two and the coaster just took off 😂

Omg, I’m freaking out watching this! As someone scared of heights I can’t deal... I wouldn’t breathe for the duration of the rides lol 😂 Fuji-q looks amazing though! And the 4K quality is making me see this too clearly and I’m wetting my pants lol

If you have a free time, you should go to Hanayasiki in Asakusa! Roller coaster is oldest in Japan! Many tourist come to there!

I visited Fuji-Q Highland in 1995 and at that time there were no such extreme amusements compared to present Fuji-Q Highland.
I think you heard about some accidents in the do-dodonpa recently.

The Fuji-Q Highland failed report 9 people are injured while riding the do-dodonpa roller coaster amusement to Yamanashi Prefecture authority.
It’s a very intense ride! I hope everyone is okay :)

Do-dodonpa’s launch hands down! The first raven turn on X2 strangely however makes your stomach drop while going upwards! 😋

How do you handle the loud noise of dododonpa
It's not too bad when you're on the ride... it's when you walk under the brake run that made me almost crap myself! haha

Hi Marv 😊 I tend to use Wide, as 4K doesn’t support Superwide on the Hero 7. One thing I’d recommend is recording in 2.7k as it grants more versatility, and is better in low lighting! I personally use certified wrist mounts or chest mounts to capture my shots safely 😊 Have a great trip!

Do-dodonpa’s launch. It’s the only coaster I’m too scared to ride again - and I’ve ridden Kingda Ka 13 times in a day!
Closest acceleration you’ll get in the US is Maxx Force at Six Flags Great America. 😊

I’d say it’s like a Junior Magic Mountain - but not to be taken lightly! Do-dodonpa is the most intense thing I’ve ever experienced... and I’ve done Kingda Ka 13 times in a day!
LukeE94 I’m sure! This is definitely a bucket list park for me. I actually had the idea that Magic Mountain could get S&S to retrack X2 and put in Eej’s zero-G roll before the fire at the end, get some new trains that are identical to Eej, but with the speakers added on, meaning a more smooth ride. They could also make a wireless audio system that would automatically connect to the ride booth and start when the op presses the start button, so it wouldn’t have to rely on an audio box. It would make the system more reliable imo. It sounds a little high tech but I think it could be done!
@@tismejaytee That sounds awesome! X2 gets a little rough on the last raven turn, especially so after 20 rides in the back row!
LukeE94 agreed lol, they should also redo the station so that the floor drops when you dispatch on the ride too. Although I’m not sure SFMM will be willing to give all the money to do this, y’know, after the WCR incident where it took forever...
