From what I can tell Fred had the respect because he was invited in the in the door instead of inviting his self in so to speak…. You asked for his involvement instead of it being offered or force upon you like some of the big names move … he didn’t need to take a peace of the pie and step on toes because it was offered to him for his Expertise …. I might be wrong but I see little ego from him in comparison to other names and less greed but I’m shore it was there just had the control to keep on a level and probably see him self as an Illegitimate service …. Didn’t try becoming the best at what he did he already new he was good and that was good enough for him definitely a favourite of mine….. but I don’t know might have it all wrong
You have a great way of cutting a long story short without missing any important details out. Keeps it interesting for the listener. Good luck with everything
I've read a few of Freddie Foreman's books Yammy and he mentions Roy Hilder quite a bit. Pretty certain he was great friends with Roy Hilder if I remember correctly. Even part of Freddie's firm.
@@yammybtv from what I see, Roy hilder was a part of the furniture at peacock boxing gym along with tony n Martin Bowers everyday , premier league chaps
Freddie has said on camera, he was going to put one behind the ear of Ron & Reg, down to all the agg they were bringing to his door, apparently there were a couple of the twins firm who were also involved in it, but the shit hit the fan before they could make their move.
FF clearly was a top villain and probably more respected amongst the robbers but i think facts show the Krays where the top firm. They were seen as the leading gang in London for approx 13 years. Stabbings and shooings all over from teenagers. Called in my jack spot in their early twenties. And after that noone challenge them. People like Joey Pyle already tried for murder by then back down to them. And when they called for FF he came to them. In recent years been a lot of talk about what people would have done to them etc but in all that time no one ever did anything at all. If being a successful gangster is getting money through violence or the threat of it, nobody did more of it than the Krays. I am not aware the Richardson even shot or stabbed anyone? I am not a hero worshipper of the The Krays but those are the facts. Of course FF had a "successful" career long after the Krays were locked away.
Fred was top man and a genuine force . The whole idea of being a villain is go make money and Richardson’s we’re miles ahead of Krays . Charlie Richardson was a millionaire by time he was 25 . Krays never made much money and had no business sense whatsoever . Krays were publicity seekers which will always lead to downfall . Krays wernt top firm by any means . Richardson’s we’re feared more and made a lot more money , Nashes and other firms wernt intimidated by them either . Don’t believe all you see in films and books as nearly all authors are London based and just making money out of churning out sane old rubbish tales . Real reason Ronnie Kray hated Cornell was that few years earlier the Krays came into a pub with all the firm and tried to take over and Cornell was in having a drink . Cornell and Ronnie Kray had a fight and Cornell knocked Kray out and Ronnie hated him for that ever since . Cornell was a hard man and a Richardson enforcer and used to publicly ridicule the Krays and call them bum boys which they were I might add . Ronnie was blatantly homosexual and Reggie hid his sexuality but was fat too . So no big heroes there . In comparison they were small time bullies who lived publicity but didn’t make much money , only people who don’t know much of real story think they were the main firm . They were far from it .
Always interesting Sam. Take good care of this channel. Should back it all up mate. Enjoy your day . Missing the budgies in a way. Keep them safe too 😆. All my best

What do you mean you know about the boying off with the Richardson’s, I’ve not heard about that, tell me about it yammy please I need to hear about this mate please ?
Let me see if I have permission ❤️
@@yammybtv thanks for getting back to me yammy, would love to hear about it mate, god bless
He wasn't called Brown Bread Fred for nothing,so basically you'd end up dead if you messed with him ,and yeah mate watched loads of Documentarys on him and the Krays etc and yeah you can tell that both the Richardsons and the Krays used him for special jobs if you get me ,and he also kept the peace ,he was and is very well respected in those circles you feel by the way they speak about him
Pretty certain Freddie didn't have much to do with the Richardsons. Don't think they saw eye to eye on a few things, especially Eddie R and Freddie.
Imagine the clearer my head gets dave the more I remember cos I forget the old lot dave ❤️😂💯a man just asked me and I ain’t read know books only go by who I met u see it big don😂❤️💪
@@Mark01210 think he was neutral mate if you get me did work with lot of people
@@davidwarren4824 definitely did a lot of work with a lot of people mate but I’m sure there was bad blood between him and the Richardsons. Eddie and Fred even had words at one of the chaps funerals just a few years back. Freddie was definitely head of the top table from reading the books and documentaries though. No one dared mess with him 100%
@@ronm9101 🤔

Brown bread Fred was a force.back in the day my dad used to drink in his pub .

Not sure has
@@yammybtv some scotts working with me on shitty Tottenham stadium (spitting image of paul ferris) said they were made to do that.
😂 Arthur Thompson it helped to shift the books when they'd put this stuff on the cover, it didn't really happen far more myth than fact
@@bigprob8744 up north gangsters never took them seriously.
@@hassasinali7979 oh ye sent em packing on the train that old chestnut 🤣🤣 it happened in just about every northern city by all accounts lol either way I was commenting on Arthur Thompson supposedly making them kiss each others arses, more laughable than anything 😂
