You can’t always detect the heartbeat at 6w 0 days. This video is wildly inaccurate. So many woman don’t see cardiac activity that early and go in for a follow up appointment 1 week later and there is a heartbeat. To tell a patient this is “100% a miscarriage and a diagnosis is false.”
If Fetal pole is visualized, it must be Alive and +ve heart rate , but mostly it is visualized on TVS ultrasound , If no F pole visualized , only G sac then follow up can be done , But in many centers , with abdominal scan only , duo to poor visualization, heart beat is not seen , in this case follow up will visualize +ve heart rate ,

A good TVS ultrasound is required, for proper shape , size and growth of follicle.
