Islam is all encompassing, its not just a religion, its a culture, its tradition its a way of life it dictates every single aspect of a muslims life. I know the feeling of anger and helplessness, of wanting to do something. I couldn't get Shiri Bibas and those two babies of hers, out of my head, for months. I know the feeling of anger and helplessness, of wanting to do something. I couldn't get Shiri Bibas and those two babies of hers, out of my head, for months. I had to force myself to stop thinking about them to avoid going crazy, and I don't even know them. I honestly don't know how their family members in Israel can endure it, not knowing where they are, how they're being treated, or if they're even still alive. The only solace is in thinking of some of miraculous stories I've heard about people who found their lost or kidnapped children alive and well after years of looking for them and never giving up. Yesterday I saw a video on UA-cam about a 2-year-old boy in China who was kidnapped. He was finally found and his parents were reunited with him 25 years later. He'd been "sold" by the kidnappers to another couple in another part of China who'd desperately wanted a son, and they passed him off and raised him as their own.
@@KathyPrendergast-cu5ci I know someone who lost their grandson for five years. They have given up on him for dead. And by some miracle, they found him in a street in hong kong as a beggar for a syndicate, with both hands and feet cut off. The boy was complete and very healthy when he was kidnapped. Another story, my son was mauled when he was in high school. Never reported it to the authorities since these are influential people. I let 3 years pass, you know the rest of the story.

@@dittspoke4400 Yeah, I'm no longer a spring chicken myself. I don't think I'd ever be warrior material, but if I were younger I'd be tempted to go there as a volunteer, to help rebuild all the kibbutzes that were destroyed. I don't know if I would be much use at my age though; I'm a good worker but I don't have a farm background and am realistic enough to know how physically demanding farm labour is; it's not like puttering in a little urban garden. They need strong young backs and I just don't have that to offer anymore.

its a loaded term, when they say "alah is greater", they imply islam is greater (than all other religions and ideas like democracy, liberalism etc.). It is basic Islam. Simple obeying “Allah and his Messenger."
No act of kindness, olive leaves offered, no flowery words on their religion will wipe or alter from their hearts that written therein from the word of Allah.
Only God’s spirit can do that.
But until and unless that happens - and it can, with even those drenched, as it were, in the blood of the “enemies” of Islam - not one thing will override the order and dictates written in the hearts and minds of the “believers.” Not one thing.

That's 4 violations of the Geneva Convention right there. And that was even before they were taken into Gaza, their whereabouts unknown, unable to communicate with their families, and denied Red Cross medical visits. That's three more violations. Yes, some of us actually know something about the international rules of warfare.
