Great vid Jamie keep 'em coming. Do you ever fish 'pellet o's'? I have been a fan of these for some time but again you have to get the right flavour. But as you say it is all on the day.
I.ve bn using pellets, colourful hookhaits on my local pond, never get a bite. As soon as I put a maggot or worm on, loadsa bites. Not a commercial lake. Is this normal.
Congratulations on the Maver match this final Jamie I fish Gold Valley in Hampshire and it mostly has open water swims and I never do well there. This is a tactic I will definitely be trying out thanks for the video Jamie and Sonubaits and keep them coming as love watching them 👍🏻
Besides stating the obvious it being a Waggler day, I do think that the amount of fizzing from the fish stirring up the Silt was not conducive to a great day feeder or bomb fishing. I feel that a few pellets (3) at regular intervals would have given a better result than the one you got. Never mind at least you got the message across regarding the importance of standout hook bait. Cheers
In fairness, Jamie caught a fish pretty much every chuck on the Method feeder. The fish were actively feeding in the swim and therefore the bomb just wasn't optimal as they weren't homing in on the single hookbait regardless of what it was. The Method was brilliant. But yes, a waggler would have been good for the fish under the surface... But was only 3ft deep maximum and they were quite clearly willing to go down when given a parcel of bait amongst the loose offerings.
Definitely would have caught plenty on a waggler! The plan for the day was to show the Method and straight lead but in match conditions a waggler would be set up as a third string to the bow.. 🏹
Great teach-in, subbed.
Like the hook up advice obvious really but good solid advice cheers mate 👍
Obvious now you said it I mean not a dig buddy iv never done it but will now thanks again 👍

@@Sonubaits I would have had a shallow rig ready as well.
I think people are missing the point it was a feeder and bomb video not a waggler vid
