[The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks] Demon King Malladus - Final Battle+Cutscenes (no damage)

- Опубліковано 2 жов 2024
- After almost 2 months playing this wonderful game, time for the last battle against the mighty Demon King Malladus (by the way, thanks for what you did to Cole...that stupid little chancellor!) Sadly this will be probably my last Spirit Tracks video, so thanks to everyone who watched this and the other ones as well. A perfect-style video for a perfect ending....Enjoy! :D
** Noooooo~~~~!!! Byrneeeee!!!!
I'll be honest, i think this may just be my favourite incarnation of Zelda. You can see her actually run her kingdom in the end, and even without a body for the entire game she does everything she can to help. After good ol' character development of course.
Slenderminion :Agreed best Princess Zelda ever is and will always be Spirit Tracks Zelda.
That’s right, tetra would be proud.
She’s definitely my favourite companion
It’s either tetra or botw zelda for me
Lol the only zelda that is actually a legend about her and isn't just a tale about some guy who rescued her who gets no recognition for it in history 😂
"i will destroy the world in the time i have left!"
*swings paw at link to fend him off*
Yeah, this is the PAL version, I prefer "But the world will crumble in the time I have left.." from US edition.
I knew it seemed off. Yeah. The US version is better...more sinister
Link:Yo! That was pretty sick, man.
Me:Well, you're defeating that beast and you sick of it?!?!
Zelda:Said a prince to a damsel😏
Me:That's very mean to him, Zelda!!!
Zelda:Sorry...😳
Damn I lost the pencil of the ds……. This battle and the others was shit in the head without the fucking pencil……,
and bro you did the final song so perfect
Even harder than no damage challenge.
IKR, when I saw it I was like so impressed! Actually, impressed is quite the understatement!
It took me an hour to do that
For some reason, I was able to do pretty easy on the DS I was using when I first did it.
I think it’s a tas bot I don’t think it’s a person actually playing
Zelda spirit tracks: the only Zelda game in which link gets out of the friend zone
+Swaggingamers In Skyward Sword Link and Zelda fucked hyrule into existence.
and in botw. they seem to be together as well
I could name a game, but I don't know another game where Link and Zelda... Come in contact! :D
Only Zelda game with proper chemistry between two of them and ironically she is much more adorable as an armor
Don't forget about Zelda 2's ending.
Considering this Zelda is the granddaughter of Tetra. Glad she inherited Tetra's more proactive behaviors.
I've beat this game so many times but Bryne's death still gives me the chills. this game is so good though
Me too :c
Dragon Kitty :Me three
Me four
Stevan moment
His name is Staven
That fight was SO epic. And spirit tracks is the only Zelda game where Zelda really matters: she fights along with you and she's a well-defined character.
To people who haven't played this game...... Lodging the sword into his head is harder than it looks.
blueflare Yeah to bad the fight kinda sucks and doesn't fit the otherwise awesome boss theme.
blueflare you forgot Wind Waker, where she fights alongside you against Gannondorf with her light arrows. Same with Twilight Princess to a certain extent. she is literally the best video game princess, she does her job and does it well, unlike a certain mushroom princess....
To be honest I probably hadn't played neither of those games when I wrote that comment =P but I knew that Spirit tracks was the exception. Now I have played both, as well as almost every other Zelda game, and I can confirm that, IMO, Spirit tracks is the best ZELDA game, the one where she matters the most. Yes in WW Zelda helps you in the final fight, as well as in Ocarina, TP, etc.; but in ST she is along with you THE WHOLE GAME, you control her and she solves puzzles and fights with you. There are no similar Zelda games.
Princess Lucina you're forgetting yourself...
Plus, Spirit Tracks has Zelda actively participating of the whole story, rather than just the final boss.
I always loved how the final blow was driving the sword deep into his head while Zelda rushed in to help
I definitely think this Zelda worked the hardest in the final battle, and then she helps to deliver the final blow, and it just makes it so awesome that the two friends work together to drive it deeper
They even stab him in the head just like their ancestors.
@@peckyjr-sx7etWell technically Link stabbed Ganondorf in the head, and this Link has no connection to the hero of winds
Isnt st link a descendant of ww link tho
@@Frost_Gamer_75 Nope he has no connection to WW Link

Despite how easy the actual Malladus battle is, I still think that of all the final bosses, this one makes Link seem the most badass
dunno man, Demise is one epic fight too.
Most of the final fights are.
Each on their own way.
True, but looking at the sheer brute size of Malladus it's funny to think of a 10 year old Link killing him so easily. Demise was a great boss in terms of gameplay though, he really tested whether you'd actually been paying attention to what the game was teaching you
Son of Illuvatar I've seen better, honestly.
While it absolutely *is* epic, I don't think it's quite up to scale with some of the crazier final bosses in Zelda.
Especially if you're looking at 10 year old Link, the Ganon and Puppet Ganon fights at the end of Windwaker have all the scale of Malladus and then some. The sky is breaking and the great sea is coming down on top of you, and Ganon wants to keep you down there with him.
And if we get away from "Toon Link" there's also the battle at the end of Twilight Princess, one of the most insane build ups, culminating in an epic 1v1 sword duel while it storms? Yes, please! Not to mention the pure scariness of Dark Beast Ganon and the epic velocity felt while fighting Ganon on horseback. Twilight Princess takes the cake for me, though I could also see an argument made for OoT or SS for various reasons.
AceofBlades X
For how it looked, botw had a horrible boss battle. Don’t get me wrong, i loved it on the whole with the exploring and all, but the boss battle was too easy by the time you get to the end. I wish I “accidentally” went to the castle first to compare, but I went for all the machine things (forgot what they were called) and it’s not quite the same experience if you just replay the game...
Toon link and Toon Zelda are so Cute *_*
Link Bolado SKYWARD SWORD MAN!
Gusta Bolado a
It's been over a decade since I've played this game and I don't remember a ton of it, but I will never forget the final boss fight. So much about how the scenes and fights play out is amazing. Whoever decided what songs to play and when to play them, nailed it perfectly. Zelda's Lullaby when she's trying to get her body back, the main theme when Link catches Zelda, the overworld theme during the final form, and of course, the title screen's music, a song you heard every time you booted up the game, finally appearing in the adventure itself as the spell that ultimately turns the tides. This fight gave me maximum levels of immersion in gaming and I'm so grateful for it.
6:07 i always get goosebumps when i hear it, totally my childhood
Same buddy samr
No really, shit makes me cry like a "female dog"
same
What do you mean by that the song sounds nicw
@@irfanyazdani8063 that's why, because the song sounds nice
Something that i loved about that whole game is you arent just alone. Zelda helps you through the entire journey and in the end, you both give the final blow together. And at the end, you're also both still here. Its a game i will always hold dear to my heart.
Yeah! the final attack is pretty cool! its been 1 year and no comment, so here
I bit slow and forgot to do my own research about the timeline of the game. I don't like zelda games until I tried to play spirit tracks and now I'm hooked. Unfortunately spirit tracks is the last out of the three games other being phantom hourglass and wind waker. I just finished phantom hourglass and I'll be playing Wind waker next
why is this game so underrated?
ikr
I really wish they remastered this game
+Hyborg30 a remaster would be brilliant

@blindmelon2007 I can't do it either way stopped from beating a game about fighting monsters and solving dungeons...by a stupid song (Sand Song)
2:02: Did anyone just hear the main theme played on train whistles? EPIC!!
The Chancellor was a fool, he thought he’d escape the same fate as Byrne just by being loyal from the start. Malladus never had any allies, just pawns.
Can't deni that.
OMG! This game needs a Remake... for 3DS... with better controls...
and without those stupid mandatory mic sequences, i tell you i dreaded those sequences and they are they i couldn't finish but i love this GAME ITS SO GOOD cant wait for the remake, when they make it hopefully
I EMAILED NINTENDO, SOMEONE UNDERSTANDS ME!
Diovani Bressan Nintendo switch probably will get the Remake.
Diovani Bressan Yes!
Diovani Bressan YESS!!!!!!
Best story in a Zelda game hands down. I don't give a fuck what any of you say
Flame8765 I have this game on the DS... best game ever
Gwen Wolf yes
Oh man the part when Byrne disappeared and was remembered for his sacrifice almost made me cry I hope Nintendo brings him back in the future. :'(
They should bring Byrne back, his character was so awesome.
No kidding.
(This comment is late but whatever)
I think he would return in some future Zelda game as the main character.... maybe as a new Link? :3
Yeah, I found his death to be the most heartbreaking thing ever, I loved him as a character :'( Bringing him back would be great
We need him in smash
Okay personally, this is one of my FAVORITE battles in Zelda. Sure it's really simple and easy but i adore the split screen where you fight as both Link and Zelda, in synch, along with the music and the colors and visual just makes the entire game feel so deserved.
Really, Link and Zelda have such fantastic character development and chemistry in this game, I love everything about it anyway. But I'm biased, I grew up with this game, it was the first Zelda I ever finished.
The fact that this game had a more climactic boss fight than Breath of the Wild
The bit where the music swells at 6:50 gives me goosebumps
SAME
is this the only game where link and zelda hold hands?
Yes yes it is
Then this is the best Zelda game
@@OmegaLink And in Twilight Princess too before the last two boss fights
and also skyward sword on the wing ceremony, when Zelda blesses the Master Sword and after zelda's seal breaks
In ocarina of time at the very end when Link goes to hand Zelda the ocarina back, she puts her hand over Link's, that kinda counts lol
Still the uncontested best final boss theme and a high contender for the best song in the entire series in any Zelda game there’s nothing that even comes close
6:50 eargasm
I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks this sounds glorious ASF
@@LewisPDiDdle808 I love that part so much
It's so sick
Legendary transition
yeah right? Amazing how Nintendo does not play on duty, even though this Zelda is not even one of the main one's and it's for a handheld console.
Easily one of the best finales in Zelda history.
This game needs a remake, desperately.
I will agree to that just without the mic blowing and the screen guidance crap, let me use the analog stick.

-Anjean, December 7, 2009.
All timelines except Downfall/Fallen Hero timeline (or whatever you wanna call it has Link's Awakening, the original Legend of Zelda, etc.) have not had a game in at least 5 years..
@timebomb281 A shame that your opinion is invalid. It's a great Zelda game, fact.
This Final Boss was way better than the one in Breath of the Wild
During the part where Maladus says “I will destroy the world in the time I have left” his music sequence gives me goose bumps. Sounds so evil like it used to scare me as a kid. And everything about this game is so good. I’d give it 11/10
Is no one going to talk about how fucking AWESOME the music in this game was?!
Not half as good without such music
13:27 No.. they don't do it.. they don't... THEY DID IT. One day, it will end with a kiss.
Was it twilight princess when they kissed
no it wont
+THE gamer nu uh fan movie
Zelda II, they kiss at the end
+Connor Hopkins it was a nintendo joke
let it be known… i've never ended this game but i can tell you i felt so much sympathy for Zelda after seeing this guy disapear in front of her eyes
...Those tears in my eyes are totally worth it.
Cmon Malladus, for a demon king you somehow think it's a good idea to push against someone trying to stab your weak point?
6:05 Imo, the best final boss theme out of the whole Zelda franchise. It sounds so beautiful and gives you that feeling of: "Aight that's it, your fuckin dead." without having to go all out. Ik they could've made this theme 3x more grander with the hardware they had, but they didn't need to. And that's why I love it so.
Sucks they couldn't make the actual boss fight match the scale of the song, but to be fair thats how the whole game played.
This game is sadly underrated. It's one of my favorite Zelda games and this final battle is among the best! The train is very exciting as well. You know, chuggachuggachugga (conroy?!)
Zelda scuttling over to help Link at the end will forever be one of my favorite Legend of Zelda moments 😂
This has one of The most satisfying end cutscenes I have ever seen. Spirit Tracks has a special place in my heart
In my opinion this is the BEST game of the the legend of Zelda series :)
I think so too a remake needs to happened with better graphics and more side quests
Frank Montoya true
Out of all the DS games at least.
I *AGREE!* 😃
Wow, she has a beautiful singing voice. Zelda sure is a good singer!
Oh-whoa- OKAY, NOPE. Okay, screw Chancellor Cole. First, he 'kills' Zelda (separates her spirit from her body, so basically killing her), then steals her body. Then he throws Byrne under the train (pun intended) like a freaking animal just because he used to serve the spirits of good (even though he betrayed them), then LAUGHS as Byrne IS FREAKING DISINTIGRATED?! If I were given to choice to torture Cole for all of eternity, boy would i take that chance. In my opinion, for my top five cruelest video game villians, he takes the cake.
Also... was I the only one who kind of grinned madly when Malladus ate Cole? Because after that cutscene with Byrne, that was the highlight of my day.
Arctic's Den I love that part because its sort of a reflection of how Cole treast Bryne. Bryne helps Cole with everything then is used and tossed aside, so its a very satisfying fate for Cole
Part of me thinks that Cole is still somewhere in his vessel, and in reality, wanted Malladus's powers, and so thats why his vessel is so weak.
Why does Byrne remind me of *BUCKY?!* 😭💔
Cole is officially a worse Ganondorf.
Ganon has never gone to those extremities.
2:40 looks like you're going to the shadow realm, jimbo
2:05 I love that part with the zelda theme and link tries to catch zelda
Zelda: Hey, Link! I have an idea for an attack that should take out Malladus. Upside is I can go Super Saiyan!
Link: Cool! What's the downside?
Zelda: You'll have to distract him while I charge it.
Link: That's not too ba-
Zelda: For five minutes. And, considering that all our lives depend on how well you can use a stylus...Aw, nevermind! I'm sure you can handle it!
Link: ...Whatever.
lel good refrence

Who stole it?
its funny how link tries to ccatch her but zelda just falls on top of him. i laughed a bit at this.
Unpopular opinion: out of all of the legend of Zelda’s. spirit tracks has the BEST ost
Shouldn't be unpopular. Malladus beast has easily the best final boss theme. Actually both Malladus beast parts have the best
nah that's a fact
I think malladus was the only reincarnation of demise that isn’t ganon or ganondorf
Think new Zelda after totk should have another such incarnation or another villain like Majora.
9:57
Malladus: Screaming and roaring in pain.
Link & Zelda: 🗿🗿
Mrs. Honeynuts there was a concept ending where malladus’s head was severed and begging for mercy. It was cut due to being considered too dark.
Drake of the Lake bro that would’ve been sick, they shouldn’t have scrapped the idea wtf🧍🏽♀️

Spirit Tracks is underrated and gets a bad rep for having a train. But for me the final area, and the final boss was a rollar coaster of emotions. Even when I replay the game in 2022.
You can feel how desperate malladus is to takeover the world, that when they finally speak for the first time. Its immediately clear to you, and the enemy that they're losing. But hes not going down without a fight, even as his entire body looks like its evaporating from how much power has been spent.
The dark train scene.
The demon train fight.
ON the demon train (god I hated that part so much)
Malladus consuming his most loyal subject to assume another form as a last ditch effort.
Protecting zelda and a sudden break of calm as we casually summon holiness infront of basically the devil.
Then fucking malladus up and pulling a Wind Waker V2 on him.
Literally it was a Fear, Shadenfraude, Tension, annoyance, terror, and finally the end and your just on the verge of tears at this point.
Just. Mother fucker pls remake spirit tracks with the high tech of the switch.
Malladus 2.0 when bruh.
So beautiful D,;
Seriously, Spirit Tracks has like the best story of all the Zelda games.
Little detail that I just noticed and that I love, when Link begins forcing with his sword at 9:15, there's a little cymbal crash (I think ?) being added to the melody, just to make it a little more epic-like !
Whatever you say Spirit Tracks Zelda and Spirit Tracks as a whole is the best Zelda game in my opinion. Not only this incarnation of Zelda has the same amount of expressiveness as SS Zelda. Not only does she gain a relationship with Link over the journey, she plays a big role, and is needed to beat the game in the Tower of Spirits. She also gets a whole scene to herself, each with a different outcome on your answer to her question: "what do you want to be after this all is over"
Music is 1000/100
14:30
Link fights menacing enemies throughout the whole game, enemies that even knights won't face yet here you can hear him presumably get his ass handed to him by another knight while training
Zelda's attention attraction it's too powerful.
Through the games Link isn't particularly strong or powerful, but he's the bravest hero of all
That's link training his son and handing him his ass.
The worst of all is that we never directly kill Cole. He, like Ghirahim, died when you killed his master.
I look at it differently, he got his body snatched, he's trapped in his own head as malladus is about to be slain, he dies unable to do anything about it.
The music T^T
+Reaper So good
TWO BEST L.O.Z GAMES ARE PHANTOM HOURGLASS AND SPIRIT TRACKS SIMPLY BECAUSE OF THE MUSIC AND THE EMOTION, THESE GAMES HIT ME HARD AND I ADORE THEM.... :)
Transport Videos Australia out of the 3 timeline splits after oot child adult and death the adult spilt (wind waked phantom hourglass and spirit tracks is by a far my favorite) the controls aren’t bad just takes an hour or two to get used to for me especially after replaying console Zelda’s if I do a marathon
I wonder if most people would have relized that the epic scene in Breath of the Wild in which all the tribes attack Ganon at the same time, weakening it so Link can defeat it, is actually a very inferior copy of this scene, with the Lokomos playing the song with Zelda and Link, to mark Malladus's weak point on it's back. I wouldn't say these are the best games, but they are undeniably underrated, specially their soundtracks...
ITS SO CUTE HOW LINK AND ZELDA HOLD HANDS AT THE END
Hero of Trains = most adorable hero ever
indeed
Seeing Zelda hug Link and then followed by Byrne's death was the one of the biggest mood whiplash I experience as a kid.
In my opinion, all of the spirit tower is worth this boss.
The Chill Gamer not to mention the Rocktites.
Pr0m4n.V YAS
And all the times you got Pac-Man-ed by those FUCKING Dark Trains.
Ace that’s the only reason why I kept going 🤣
Still better than the temple of the ocean king, at least you don’t have to replay each segment over and over
2:39 Bryne: Zelda I don’t feel so good
I loved this game so so much, it has been stashed away in my cupboard for years and I finally decided to have another go at it and I missed all of the game, this fight is so epic😁
This is probably my favorite iteration of Zelda just because she’s really charismatic and you can see character growth throughout the game
Idk who this "Staven" person is...
But Byrne is a real MVP for taking one for the team.
Staven is Byrne’s PAL Release name. Same with the Spirit Flute being called the Spirit Pipes.
For a ‘DS game,’ I *still* think it’s one of the most epic final battles *EVER!* 😃👌
WHY NO SEQUEL OR REMAKE ON WII U?!!!?

I just might be possible on the Wii U,but more likely on the 3DS XD
RainbowFox1 probably they release the remake with Nintendo Switch, well I hope so :'c
RainbowFox1 probably on Nintendo switch.
Gwen Wolf we can play it on the 3ds.ds games work on 3ds
A switch remake of this game would be lovely
Eh a remake of Spirit Tracks would be hard. The devs would have to change the Spirit Flute to use buttons since the Switch has no mic. Though I really want a 3D remake of PH and ST, and while I love ST much more than PH, PH will be much better remade in 3D.
@@molduga changing 2d games to 3d is pointless imo these games are built around being 2d Changing them to 3d gives them nothing. 3d games are not inherently better than 2d games. Also prior to ss being remade several head developers said it would be impossible without motion controls. When ss was remade it was stated that perfecting the motion controls took over a year and a half if that was possible surly this can be done.
This is one of my favorite Zelda incarnations.
A+ with the spirit flute
I’ll only want a remake if they keep the charm of the last duet song.
@WordenProductions1 that's still a mystery in most of the zelda games...but the connection between Zelda and Link in Spirit Tracks is very strong, more than just their roles as "the princess and his hero". You can also feel a romantic atmosphere between the same characters in Skyward Sword, with the difference that Zelda is not a princess and Link isn't recognized as the Hero of Time yet. But they never get married officialy

One of the two zelda games that Zelda is with you at the final boss, but the only game where Zelda is with you throughout your journey
6:07 My favorite part.
Staven's laugh as he die's is so badass and cole's death is so epic. I LOVE THIS GAME
This whole video was very emotional. Especially the ending. It’s both touching and very heart-wrenching.
This entire part from beating the Demon Train to the credits is in my opinion the best part in the entire Zelda franchise. Amazing Soundtrack, Story telling in the end and so many different emotions from Byrne's death, the joke with Zelda falling on Link, to the hype music, to the very satisfying kill on Malladus/Cole into the happy ending, together with the single best Zelda incarnation in this franchise. It makes this moment just beautiful and amazing. I absolutely love this part.
It also has the cutest moments, Zelda cares about Link when he fell to the ground, Zelda helps Link to defeat Malladus by sticking the sword deeper in his head together and they are holding hands in the end. It's so cute and makes you care about them more than any other Link and Zelda in the franchise.
The Demon King owned by two children!! I LOVE THIS GAME!! But poor Byrne
Zelda looks so adorable when she sings!
